No, if I remember correctly, by the time we get to the end of Return of the Jedi, evil has been completely vanquished, good has prevailed, the Dark Side has fallen, and balance has been returned to the Force.

 

All of this hoop-la about spiritual teachings of Star Wars--now, I like the movies--planning to see #3 when it comes out--but guys, ain't 'cha glad that the doctrine of the Lord Jesus Christ leaves whatever fictional doctrine taught on the movies--ain't cha glad that Jesus' doctrine leaves that doctrine "in a cloud of dust????"
So, what'cha got to be afraid of--?? Think for a minute that the Force can out think Jesus!!? Think for a minute that the Force is big enough to make Jesus shake in His boots? Is it enough to make Jesus nervious?? Man, You can't make God nervious!!!

When the Sith were destroyed in ROTJ good returned to power and the balance was restored.

The Austrailan Jedi religion was a JOKE, voters in several coutries around the world tried to get "Jedi" added as a religion through a email campaign. I recieved one myself.

No Star Wars fan that I know of reads that deeply into "force" its a plot device used to bring "magic" into a science fiction setting.

This website: www.theforce.net has the largest Star Wars message board on the net....take a look and see how many fans seriously base their religious beliefs on the force.

In the end article quotes from weirdos who try to use the force in their own life mean nothing...any popular novel, movie, music etc. will get obsessed fans that take it to far and distort what the original author intends.

 

Not so. Ya gotta read some of the books, I would especially recommend anything by Timothy Zhan, like Spectar of the Past/Visions of the Future and the Thrawn trilogy. The evil is never vanquished, the balance of power just tips temporarily.

 

Please correct me if I am wrong here, but by the time you get to the New Jedi Order book series, the Empire has been defeated or changed, and all of the sith have been defeated. But, even in that series, I would agree that it looks like some new sith are on the rise.

I love Star Wars!!

It is science fiction.

I heard some saying it is part of New Age Movement. Yes, that is true. I am aware of it.

Star Wars have Spiritualism in it.

Darth Vader acts like Antichrist. Darth Vader is my favorite character.

I watched all 5 movies, I still watching them since I wathced it first in 1977.

I am aware that it is Spiritualism, it is partially New Age Movement. I don't pay attention to Spiritualism and New Age Movement. I know both are occult.

I love fanasty movies. I like Star Wars better than Star Trek. Because Star Trek emphasis on politics, and science too much. Star Wars is more activity and speed actions than Star Trek does.

But, there is no difference between Star Trek and Star Wars. Both are Spiritualism.

Hey, I like 'Lord of the Rings'. I watched by rent movie. It is very good!!

Star Wars deals with the war between Good and Evil. You know that. At the end, Good win over Evil.

Same with 'Lord of the Rings' is all about the battle between Good and Evil.

Tonight, I might go and watch new movie - 'Lord of the Rings' - "Two Towers".

Many straight Baptoists who criticize against "Harry Potter". They saying it is witchcraft, it is part of Satanism.

I know that. I just watched it two days ago!!!

It is just a fansasty movie. Yes, it have heavily Spiritualism. Should I copy them? No way! It is just a story.

The reason I watched fanasty movies, because I enjoy actions and characters.

'Lord of the Rings' and Star Wars movies are my favorite. Why? Because of characters.

If I see naked in Star Wars movie, I will won't to buy videotape. All of Star Wars movies are not serious sexuality. Exact - 'Return of the Jedi', Leia was half-naked. Actually, it does not bother me at all.

I will watch Star Wars' sixth movie will come out in May 2005. I can't wait to see sixth movie, what will happen to Anakin and Padama and twin babies. I will go to watch that new movie on th e same day when it will release in May 2005.

I know Star Wars is a cult. But, I love it anyway! Why? Because of the story about the battle of Good and Evil, and also, the most reason why I love them, because of characters!

Before closing this. Too many Christians judging on movies. But they have videotapes at their homes. They are hypcorite. No one is perfect. You know that.
