In my post #16 I replied with Scripture to your points & gave you links so you could check out the Scriptures.
Yet again you post without any Scripture references. You have told you follow theology without Scripture, & you have proved that repeatedly.
Please try to find & quote Scripture which actual says what you are asserting.
I did, as Jesus asserted that Israel would have that time of restoration promised them IF they chosen to accept Jesus as King, as that would have ushered in the Messianic Age!

Why do you think Y's post was an "interesting thought?" Do you know of any supporting Scriptures?
What is your "better thought?"
I think a "better thought" was Jesus' reply to the thoughts of the Emmaus couple:

That thought of there being an earthly Kingdom set up, a Messianic Age, runs all the way thru the OT prophets!
And then Jesus Christ came & lived, died & rose according to OT prophecy, & the Messianic age began.
You are carnal in your "thoughts." You never find a quote from Jesus or his Apostles to justify your thoughts.

... That's a better answer... I was thinking the road to Emmaus but the one in John just pop in my head... We have found the Messias!... Brother GlenJohn was awaiting the time of the Second Coming event, as was paul, as that would usher unto the earth the kingdom as described by Isaiah, when no more wars, no diseases, and all worshiped God and his messiah!
When did all of that in History then?
Read Isaiah 61:1-2 then Luke 4:14-21
Jesus said,
"Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing."
You obviously agree with the mob that tried to throw Jesus off the cliff.
I followed your line of thought with v 41.

...which jibes with:
5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
6 But if it is by grace, it is no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace.
7 What then? that which Israel seeketh for, that he obtained not; but the election obtained it, and the rest were hardened: Ro 11
This 'remnant' IS the 'Israel that is of Israel'. Those that were hardened were NOT 'Israel'.
The new covenant IS the 'restoration of all things'.
Jesus quoted all part of the prophecy of isaiah though, as the remainder still awaits His second coming!

Read the Sermon on the mount to read of Jesus assurance of blessings in accord with prophecy.
You seem to think OT prophecy has to be specifically quoted in the New Covenant Scripture to have its fulfilment by the Lord Jesus Christ in the present Gospel age.
Instead you should understand that the way the Prophets are quoted by Jesus and the Apostles establishes the principles for us to understand OT prophecy.
The Sermon on the Mount was not for how we are to live now though, but as showing to us what being holy and righteousness per God really meant.
And much of the NT would still be applying to the future Second Coming event itself!

BTW IMHO the faith of God (the Father) in the obedient death of the Son of God, resulted in the salvation of the Lord through the resurrection of the Son of God by God the Father. Ref. Phil 2:8-9. Heb 5:7-9 Titus 2:11 Gal 1:1 1 Cor 15:16-18
