It seems the news agencies have gone back to"ISIS" as the murderers of the innocent men, women and children.

This is despicable no matter who does it to whom. A reenactment of Cain and Abel.

From what I've read, certain Buddhists are unhappy with conversions by Evangelical Christians. So, the RCC churches are low hanging fruit.

ISIS have claimed responsibility but in a very vague sort of way which is quite unlike them, so the jury's still out as far as I;m concerned

That does make an interesting comparison.

I combined my thoughts here Monday into a post about “The Easter Worshippers.” Today I found David Robertson had posted more and better:

But the tragedies in Christchurch and Colombo have got me thinking the unthinkable. What if we react to different tragedies differently because of the way they are reported? What if the reporting actually makes the situations worse or even increases the likelihood of similar attacks happening again? Words matter.

The Babylon Bee picked up on that new title for Christians -

You can't be too careful out there nowadays. It's really easy to call a religious person an offensive name.

No one knows this better than the press. The mainstream media is very sensitive to different religions. They may be the very best experts in the field of religiony stuff. That's why they were careful to refer to Christians as "Easter worshipers" lately. You might not have ever heard that term used before, but that's because you don't know as much about religions as the media does.

Obama didn't call them Christians.. He called them "Easter worshipers", as if they were worshiping Easter.

Peat and Re-Peat talk the same language. Hillary echoed Obama and called them "Easter worshipers".

Ya, I see news agencies have picked up on that.

"Worshippers at Easter" or "Worshippers on Easter Sunday " is surely how to read that

Hmm, then why didn't he say that?

It is more concise to write "Easter worshippers." Twitter rewards conciseness.
