I guess we can rubber jacket him, now. He's completely gone. There is no reason to stick up for this guy, he does not care about how Americans feel.

Personally, I think that if Mexicans are going to live here they should at least play by the same rules the rest of us do. If I had committed those murders I'd receive the death penalty and Bush wouldn't care. That's unfair to the point of outrageous.

As a supporter of the death penalty, I'm rooting for Texas to enforce its laws.

I'm speechless!
Well not really but I don't want to say anything that might be misconstrued as Bush Bashing.

I think a society that condones putting its citizens (or others in its jurisdiction) to death, should not be surprised when life is not valued in that society.

And I think that any society that refuses to put to death those who prey on the innocent does not value the lives of its citizens and in fact puts more value on the lives of the guilty than the innocent. Any such society will fail for there will come a day with its people will cry out for justice and overthrow those who allow the guilty to go unpunished.

Not sure what your point is, but life in this country 50+ years ago was valued far more highly than it seems to be today; and this with fairly rapid EXECUTION of those guilty of such crimes.

And I personally value the life of the innocent far more than the life of a murderer.

Not very PC I know, but that's OK. I really don't think God is very PC either.

Who said anything about letting them go unpunished? Certainly not I.

While I do believe in the death penalty, you have an interesting point. It's possible to punish someone longer with prison. In my state of KY, many prisoners have recently begin requesting the death penalty for various reasons so it can't be a great place.
