I don't personally know any Preterist who believe that Jesus was not flesh and bones when He appeared to His disciples.
This is clearly demonstrated when He invited doubting Thomas (as opposed to "spirit of Antichrist Thomas") to feel His side, etc.

Tom's denial of the "Doctrine of Christ" has nothing to do with Christ having
come (aylthen; aorist tense; indicative mood) in the body of flesh and bones.
WHY? Because He came in a "body of flesh and blood as well as bones"!

Tom denies His present/future state of "glorified humanity in the flesh"!!

He sets himself within the BB ADM definition of heresy by denying "Christ
continues to reign in Heaven and on Earth for 3000 years while the Saints
who "endure (survive; Rev.2:25-26) to the END of this Age will sit on thrones and reign over the nations on earth" AND the Martyrs of Jesus will "serve God in the TEMPLE of heaven for 1000 years" (Rev.7:15-17; Rev.20:4-5)...all this BEFORE He "separates the Sheep Nations from the Goat Nations" depending on whether they prove their faith and true worship of God by "treating His brothers as they will have treated Him in the same period of 1000 Years!!!

Jesus spoke of the days just before His Coming which would be indications like the gathering of the clouds just before a storm,the fig tree putting forth the green shoot/leaves (presumably the nation of Israel) before the appearance of the fruit.

But wait HankD, that passage contains the word "near":

Mat 24:32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree. When its branch is still tender and puts out leaves, you know that summer is near.
Mat 24:33 So you, likewise, when you see all these things, shall know that it is near, at the doors.

You have already stated in your opposition to preterism that "near" and other such time-statements are to be interpreted through the grid of "God's time". Now you seem to be saying "near" actually means "near". Isn't this rather hypocritical?

KJV 1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:​

Sounds like resurrection.

Now the JW's claim that Jesus was not really flesh and bones but only presented that appearance to the disciple so as to not frighten them anymore than they already were. In other words He deceived them and did not tell the truth that He was "flesh and bones".

I hope the preterists among us don't adhere to that position.

Actually futurist eschatology is closer to the JW's than preterists are.
