wrong interpretation of facts is what you get when you get emotional.

only a lunatic would mock the pangs of Rona; lost revenue, bankruptcies and unemployment and all the uncertainties. It could be you or anyone else. We all wish a quick cute and tidy recovery but that’s seldom the case. Study other disruptions in history and tell me whether you see a V curve.

The unemployment rate figure was understated due to a “miscalculation error” and that’s what led to the rally.

"One caveat noted by the U.S. Labor Department: the unemployment rate “would have been about 3 percentage points higher than reported” if data were reported correctly, according to the agency’s statement. That refers to workers who were recorded as employed but absent from work due to other reasons, rather than unemployed on temporary layoff."
