Stop Trump Movement Gets Boost From Mexico

Mexico is mounting an unprecedented effort to turn its permanent residents in the U.S. into citizens, a status that would enable them to vote -- presumably against Donald Trump.

Officially, Mexico says it respects U.S. sovereignty and has no strategy to influence the result of the presidential race. Yet Mexican diplomats are mobilizing for the first time to assist immigrants in gaining U.S. citizenship, hosting free workshops on naturalization.

"This is a historic moment where the Mexican consulate will open its doors to carry out these types of events in favor of the Mexican community," Adrian Sosa, a spokesman for the consulate in Chicago, said before an event on March 19. In Dallas, about 250 permanent residents attended the consulate’s first "citizenship clinic" in February and another 150 in its second in March. In Las Vegas, the turnout topped 500.

You know, Mexico is one of the most corrupt countries in Latin America. Under the PRI, only the party in power could count the ballots and there is no accurate record of how many elections the PRI stole for about 80 years. So I am sick of the rich Mexicans who would not give you a bit of bread or a drop of water if you were dying of thirst and starvation sending their unwanted people to the USA.

Anyway, the real thing harming Trump is that about 60% of the GOP think he is no good.

So how exactly would another country influence the US citizenship naturalization process? If they can, isn't that OUR fault?

The Democrats want both cheap labor and easy votes and Latrinos are considered both to the Democrats. As one Democrat said, who will clean our toilets?

And the GOP knows it has developed a reputation of being mean and nasty and against everybody except the Fox News demographic, and thus has set out to pass legislation to suppress voting numbers since it lacks the raw numbers to win elections justly.

And last I checked, there hasn't seemed to be any lack of black or white folks cleaning toilets either. But your comment is par for the course for this new GOP.

To notice that, you must be in and out of toilets a lot.
Most normal people visit toilets a lot.

If you're having issues, I recommend

I think that it was a Democrat who said that we need Latinos to clean the toilets. Dems need cheap labor for their properties and Dems think that Latinos are too ignorant to vote anyway except straight Democrat. Just follow the money to see what the Dems are doing.

What is interesting about this development is it is a 180 degree turn from the historic position of the Mexican government. Until recently, Mexico City (officially) viewed her citizens moving north of the Rio Bravo as traitors to the motherland. At least, to my view, that was the PRI position. The post PRI governments came to view migrants to the north as sources of hard currency via remittances back home. So, they've put some effort into supporting their citizens residing (legally and illegally) in the US. Back in the day, the local Mexican consulate was more interested in issuing visas to American tourists than help Mexican citizens in trouble.
