Stopping the spread of deadly assault weapons

Let us hope our weapons are never needed --but do not forget what the common people knew when they demanded the Bill of Rights: An armed citizenry is the first defense, the best defense, and the final defense against tyranny. The Poles left to themselves in Warsaw(1940) armed themselves with weapons they stole from the German army-----and with the aid of a few captured Panzers(tanks) held the mighty dreadnaught at bay for several months-----until Hitler ordered the Luftwaffe to "level" what remained of the Polish resistance-----my point is---they were NOT armed until they armed themselves---years before, the Polish government probably decided the general public did not NEED to be armed---that is, until the puny Polish government was overrun by German "Lightning!"(Blitzrieg)

I intend on keeping myself armed!! No matter how unsafe my know-nothing government says being armed is!!
