I have several stories that I could tell, but this one is very simple. A couple months back, I had mowed grass at a local business, and was getting ready to head home. I took out some coolant and poured it into my radiator reservoir. When I did, a plastic cap came out of the jug and into the reservoir. Since it floated, all that I needed was a piece of wire to make a hook and fish it out. I checked my tool box and looked around everywhere but found none. The sun was setting and it was getting dark. I slumped over the back side of my pick-truck with both hands hanging down toward the bed, and said, "Lord, I need a piece of wire. What am I going to do?"
When I looked at my finger tips, there was a perfect sized piece of wire right before me. I fashioned a hook, fished out the plastic cap, and was on my way home in no time.
The wire was probably something that I once picked up and threw in the back of the truck, just to get it out of the way, but it may be that God kept it there for me for when I needed it.
Just a simple thing, but I felt exillharated to think that with all that goes on in the world and in the universe, the Almighty One Himself had time to toss me a piece of wire, even though the need was not life or death.
