Stormy Daniels Denied the Affair

This is from last year, and updated this year, but I don't recall any broadcast journalists ever covering the story on TV.

Adult film star Stormy Daniels, in the midst of a publicity tour fueled by past allegations of a 2006 sexual relationship with a then-married Donald Trump, said in a statement on Tuesday the alleged affair never occurred.

Keith Davidson, a lawyer for Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, confirmed the statement was authentic but didn’t offer any further details.

She had supposedly signed a nondisclosure statement with Trump so he could play for pay without getting caught. She then sued Trump over the agreement. The suit was thrown out because Trump had never signed it. That's why she was denying the relationship for a while.

Stormy Daniels' Lawsuit Against Trump Over Nondisclosure Agreement Tossed by Judge

A lawsuit brought against President Donald Trump by adult-film performer Stormy Daniels was tossed by a judge on Thursday, the Associated Press reports.

According to the Associated Press, the suit, which hoped to nullify a nondisclosure agreement Daniels had entered into, was found to be moot by U.S. District Judge S. James Otero because Trump and his former lawyer, Michael Cohen, had previously agreed not to hold Daniels responsible for breaching the agreement. In essence, granting Daniels’ wish.

Daniels contended that the agreement, entered into shortly before the 2016 presidential election, should be deemed invalid because Trump never signed it.

There is a huge difference between a non-disclosure and denying anything happened. One is not a result of the other.

The affair never happened. But given the climate, it would have been a he said vs. she said and the easiest way to handle it was to pay her off not to make the accusation. She decided not to honor the agreement and paid a heavy price for it. And she got screwed by Avenatti who stole her book earnings.

Oh well, Avenatti, the anti-Trump lawyer, who was CNN's and MSNBC's favorite son is in so much hot water, he is facing over 400 years in prison for his dishonest dealings. And Daniels has already been ordered to pay Trump's legal fees and that means she will almost three times what she was paid in the NDA.

I understand. I just don't buy into the spin.
What spin? They had an affair. She signed a nondisclosure agreement for $130,000 arranged by Cohen. She sued to get out of it because Trump didn't sign it. The suit was thrown out because the nondisclosure agreement was null and void.
