You forgot about the Ottoman Empire and the Armenian genocide in Turkey, for one. You forgot to mention how the Ottoman Empire conquered Bulgaria, Romania, Bosnia, Iran, Egypt, Croatia, and others during this time you say Islam was peaceful. So you are factually wrong.

Care about the countries? Not so much. Care about the people? Yes! They are sinners, enslaved by sin and following a false god straight to Hell. Walid Shoebot says to love them, pray for them, but never turn your back on them. He should know. He is a former Muslim and former terrorist. That does not mean we, as a nation, need to keep treating their nations as if they are allies. They are not. They are at war with us, we need to be at war with them.
