Well if there was any team that could make it to the Super Bowl this year Green Bay Packers would be one of my choices.
I was also hoping for the New Orleans Saints and the Chicago Bears because I have lived in different areas and could be flexible about other teams.
That puts less pressure on me as for many will root for 1 team or 2 the most. I have several teams for the NFC and the AFC.
It's pretty great to see the Green Bay Packers doing well without Brett Favre as the quarterback. And I certainly hate those Steelers. They have a noisy crowd of fans and have been to the Super bowl already too many times.
Go Packers win. Go Steelers lose:applause:

It is going to be an interesting game, with great strengths in both teams, but I believe the Packers will prevail, taking apart the Steelers just like they did the top teams in the NFC on their way from a 6-seed berth to the Super Bowl. Just wading through the 1-2-3 seeded teams like they did on their way through the playoffs is indicative of their ability. No one really even offered them a serious challenge.
The coaching staff of the Packers are almost unbelievable in their ability to take apart rival teams, and the players are smart and athletic enough to pull off the extremely complicated schemes presented by the coaches. That is not to slight Pittsburgh, they too are good, but the Pack has demonstrated a larger-than-life ability to wade through the toughest challenges when healthy and they are indeed healthy now -- peaking at the right time!

Yea....you got a point! Of course if youve been to Steeltown you know who the looser is.
David out by me in New Jersey, there has been growing interest in rugby. I love it as a spectator (LOL) ....as a player, not so much.
After this game, I look fwd to March Madness (college Basketball) & Spring training (Baseball)....I could care less about sports like hockey or Soccer.....actually hate Soccer.
If I don't support Green Bay, my son-in-law won't send me a Green Bay sweatshirt!!! He was born and bred in Green Bay.
I once went to a Green Bay practice with him wearing a Chicago sweat,,,he politely asked me to zip my jacket,,,,,lol
By the way, in England, "soccer" is actually a club and we call it "footie".
On this side of pond I have come to love college Basketball more than any sport.

Don't want to derail the thread, but I've lived in England all my life, and I regularly hear the game referred to as soccer. After all, "soccer" is a diminutive of the full name of the game, "Association Football." I also hear it called "footie". But most often, we just call it "football" except when we want to distinguish it from Rugby, American football, and others.
In 1863, several football clubs were called upon to decide a set of organized rules for the game of soccer, since it was growing popularity and needed some form of organization. Representatives from these clubs met in London, at the Freemason's Tavern in Great Queen Street, where they set up the first soccer organization in the World, called the Football Association (FA)
