Anybody familiar with this show? I've never seen an episode but I understand it's about a couple of brothers that hunt demons and other spiritual beings.

I expect it takes liberties with the subject matter.

Please give me your thoughts on this show.

I liked the first couple of seasons (Netflix), but then it started getting what I would consider "anti-Christian". The absentee God, good demons, bad angels, etc.was a turn off....so I did :)

I'm caught up on it. If you're looking for a doctrinally sound series, steer clear. If you're looking for some entertainment that in no way shape or form resembles reality, then go for it.

Personally, I enjoyed it.

That is the gist of the show...

Recently had God showed up as Chuck, a writer of the show, and Gods sister showed up,trying to destroy God and His creation...

It is amazing how that show changed over....wow....12 seasons??!!

So "god's" (Chuck) older sister (the Darkness) is the yin to his yang (they are balanced). Shortly after "god" came into being he created archangels. "God's" sister fatally wounds him, but heals him and they are now on good terms. Angels are "god's" nieces and nephews.

I remember when Christians were in an uproar about the disrespect of George Burns playing God. Times change, I suppose.
