Marriage is the law of nature and all civil and family law has its roots in that institution. It is at the core of all human interaction and the foundation of government itself.

It's amazing, some of you know nothing of which you speek beyond the ink on some paper and you call yourselves justified. The 'icing on the cake" remark is not along the wrong track though, it's great insight. This nation was founded by God fearing men and women and because we held as closely as we did for two centuries God blessed us as a nation.

In my, soon to be, 68 years, I have been left speechless as to why our Holy father has not knocked the, secular, props out from under us already. We are so self righteous that we can crawl into the back seat of the car, rob a young lady of her virtue and then dare God to charge us of abandoning our first, third or twenty-third wife. The Corporate Church is so deluded with self righteousness that the homosexual is going to Hell but the Deacon, shacking with half the single women andf about ten percent of the married ones is a Jolly Good Fellow.

Look around yourselves. God put an Illegal Alien into the Oval Office and has now reseated him for a second term. This nation of sinners is rapidly falling.

You got that right!!

The parallels between the present US and ancient Rome are very, very striking. I may start a thread about this later, or maybe someone else will.

I would recommend studying the account of Sodom(y) and Gomorrah in the Book of Genesis. Also study: " unatural use"-- in a biblical context.

All have sinned and come short of the glory of God; there are none righteous, not one...

The problem is SIN. The world is controlled by SINNERS.---following the prince of the power of the air, in the long war--against God.

The abomination of desolation is at hand.

Man-made juris prudence will not hold up at the judgement seat of Christ.

We are without excuse.

It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of The Living God.

Even so, come Lord Jesus.

Peace,

Bro. James

That's kind of why I'm cautious about throwing stones at people - as is their sins are somehow worse than mine...

The Bible says "the wages of sin is death..." So, the future doesn't look too bright for the USA. And, according to the Bible, nations will be judged.

If people feared God, there would be different attitudes toward morality among the saved and the unsaved.

I expect the SCOTUS to rule in favor of gay "marriage." This is the ungodly court that brought us legalized abortion, took the prayer and Bible reading out of our educational system, and ruled in favor of the unconstitutional obamacare.

These "justices" are truly, truly wicked. And one day, they WILL be judged for their decisions and rulings and their "justice" will be meted out by the Real Supreme Judge, God Almighty.

To whom much is given, much is required.

Bilgewater.

That hasn't stopped you from judging thieves. (Saw Black's sodomy-sycophantic quote in LE's post.)
