A five-justice majority of the U.S. Supreme Court upheld the latest iteration of President Donald Trump’s travel sanctions Tuesday.

Chief Justice John Roberts wrote the Court’s opinion, joined by Justices Anthony Kennedy, Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, and Neil Gorsuch.

“The president has lawfully exercised the broad discretion granted to him under [federal law],” Roberts wrote.

Speaking moments after the Court issued its decision, Trump said the ruling vindicates his immigration and national security priorities.

The lawsuit should have been thrown out by the first federal Judge to get it on his docket. This was a Executive Branch decision from the get go and all that money had to be wasted to see this fact affirmed. Had Obama been president and done this, it would never had been even filed.

Of course.

According to the constitution, no other decision could have rightfully been made.

Here the Dems exposed us to terrorism just so they could express their hatred of the USA. Federal law was clear.

Trump should have ignored the lower Courts. Lincoln ignored The Supreme Court. Could you honestly see ole Abe giving a darn what a lower court said?
