Taiwan has had 395 cases & 6 deaths out of 26 million people but then everyone had an N95 mask. They have to be the smartest in the world not to trust the commies.

Sweden isn't enforcing a coronavirus lockdown. See how it's going - CNN Video

One thing Sweden should watch for is sabotage. I would not put it past those with a vested interest in panicking the nations to do so.
The UK thought they would try Herd Immunity and quickly backed down when they saw what was happening and are still paying for their error. These Sweden COVIDIOTS will be brought to their knees in 2 or 3 weeks and it won't be because of some conspiracy theory "sabotage" but because of their neglect to stay at home and do social distancing. Herd Immunity is insanity!

Your saying that the death rate is almost 5% is another conspiracy theory because you have no idea how many people actually have had the virus. You really should stop saying that.

I wouldn't look to Sweden as a country to emulate. The population density is much lower than here, with almost 50% of households containing only one person.

Sweden population of 10 million though is not fat and obese, full of diabetics- prediabetics about 40% in the US, loaded down with heart diseases, and lots of old people living in nursing homes. This country is full of lots of old and sickly people.
This country is SICK all the time, before any virus came along. Look at pictures and video of people living here over 50 yrs ago, you see very few fat people, it is not called morbidly obese for no reason.
By simple large numbers of 320 million in the US, all the numbers will be much greater.

Sweden reported

‘ “We do believe the main difference between our policies and many other countries’ policies is that we could easily keep these kinds of policies in place for months, maybe even years, without any real damage to society or our economy,” Dr. Tegnell said.

Although the government has not issued a stay-at-home order, many Swedes have decided to quarantine and practice social distancing on their own volition, Dr. Tegnell said. ‘

Makes sence - take a bigger hit in terms of death up front and don't crash the economy. I guess time will tell (how long it takes to level off).

Question: How do you spell "Benjamin?"

Answer: CNN

First of all, herd immunity is the only way an epidemic ends. Herd immunity is achieved when 60% to 70% of the population is immune to a pathogen, and the infection rate is stabilized. Note: That's "stabilized," not eliminated.

This virus is here to stay like the Flu in all its colors. There is no eliminating it. individuals develop immunity only one way: exposure to the virus either organically or by vaccine.

So herd immunity is the goal actually. And it has probably been achieved already in California. Some Stanford guys are checking that out.

Second of all, your hunker-in-a-bunker approach is not saving any lives. It is only slowing the spread, and preventing herd immunity. Once you come out of the bunker, the infection rate will spike and it will take just as many to the grave as it would have before any mitigation measures were enacted.
