Systematic theology on dvd

I am looking for a Systematic Theology Primer on DVD to show at Church on Sunday nights. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I am thinking about the "Foundations DVD Collection" by R.C. Sproul . Can anyone give a review on it?

It is the only one I have found under a grand, at $120 for 60 sessions it seems a bargain.

Any help will be appreciated.

Whatever you get be sure it is okay to put on public showings of it without copyright problems. Usually a dvd/cd is for personal use only. I'd guess you'd be okay with the one you mentioned but it wouldn't hurt to check.

Looks good though not knowledgeable of it personally. Be sure the author holds to similar theology to yourself :thumbs:

There is a study guide available with a duplication license so I would take it to be for group showing.

I'm not sure price should be the key factor if you are planning to run a series on Systematic Theology.

I see from past posts you like MacArthur.

Recognise that R.C. Sproul and MacArthur have some very different positions on issues of importance.

I have listened to both for quite awhile and have not picked up on that, except infant baptism. RC is Presbyterian which I can explain to the audience.

What are the differences?

MacArthur is Dispensational.

You'll notice major differences in their views of Israel and the Church
and in their eschatology (end times).

Now wait. Both Macarthur and Sproul are Reformed. Sproul is a Covenant theologian, while Macarthur is dispensational in his Eschatology ONLY.

Maybe Covenantal and Dispensational would have presented a better contrast then.
