How about Rez Band's song 'Fiend or Foul'?

I kill the children
before they're born
their little feet begin to form
Don't buy them shoes, they won't be worn
I kill children
I am not scorned.

And this is one of Kaiser's more loved songs. that is just the chorus. the verses say nothing of Christ just as the chorus omits Him. The song from a supposed christian group is definitely glorifying satan rather than uplifting the Name of Christ.

Drs. Earl W. Flosdorf and Leslie A. Chambers found in a series of experiments that shrill sounds projected into a liquid media coagulated proteins. A recent teenage fad was that of taking soft eggs to rock concerts and placing them at the foot of the stage. Midway through the concert the eggs could be eaten hard-boiled as a result of the music. Amazingly few rock fans wondered what that same music might do to their bodies. (Larson, Bob The Day Music Died, p.116)
So much for their credibility. Cook an egg? Get real here. And it is from that paragon of virtue himself, Bob Larson. Read more about him at http://www.ondoctrine.com/10larson.htm </font>[/QUOTE]Ah, Bob Larson. I can't believe I used to listen to that nut when I was a new Christian. I didn't know any better and I really thought he was hot stuff for the Lord.

For the record, that's the same Bob Larson who, when caught in his financial or moral peccadillo du jour, claimed that the Devil had made a copy of him and was doing those things to discredit his ministry.

Now Playing: Wildwood Valley Boys - "Songs From Wildwood Valley"

Again, you're being misleading. REZ isn't condoning these things, this is a blatantly anti-abortion song that casts Satan as being behind abortion.

Why is a Christian band speaking out against abortion through song a bad thing?

But you are lying. If you're not, then show me the post where you said so.

You still have not shown us what song you're talking about.

Now Playing: Hot Club of Cowtown - "Swingin' Stampede"

I beat the dead, they don't fight back
They have no need, they have no lack
They bear the marks of my attack
I beat the dead, they don't react

I rob the poor, they don't mind
I take whatever I happend to find
It's never much at any one time
I rob the poor, it's not a crime

Call me fiend, call me foul
Throw me to the dogs that bite and howl
Before you point your finger or cry an empty tear
Buy yourself an alibi, get yourself a mirror

I kill the children before they born
As their little feet begin to form
Don't buy them shoes, they won't be worm
I kill the children, I am not scorned.

Just where is this an anti-abortion song? I must be missing something.

As for the age of your "audience", Frenchy, I was wondering the same about you. I am in my 50s, but thanks.

So it's OK for you guys to use "guilt by association" arguments but not for us?

Rez Band's song 'Bargain'

I'd gladly lose me to find You
I'd gladly give up all I have
To find You, I'd suffer anything and be glad
I'll pay any price just to get You
I'll work all my life, yes, I will
To win You, I'd stand naked, stoned and stabbed

I'll call that a bargain, the best I ever had

I'll gladly lose me to find You
Gladly give up all I got
To get You, I'm gonna run and never stop
I'll pay any price just to win You
To find You, I'm gonna drown an unsung man

I call that a bargain, the best I ever had

I sit lookin' round
I look at my face in the mirror
I know I'm worth nothing, without You
In life one an' one don't make two
One an' one make one
An' I'm lookin' for that free ride to me
I'm lookin' for You

I can see the secular stations playing this one since it does not mention Christ, God or the Holy Spirit

And the world would eat it up.

The problem with such artist as Rez Band is their music glorifies evil more than it does the good. so what if the song is about Satan behind abortion the kids listening to this stuff DO NOT KNOW THAT. all they hear is the blood and guts and gore and evil of the words that they MISS they whole message totally. the music is SO LOUD and distorted you can't even hear the words much less know what they are saying and if it is doctrinally sound. they want you to think it is christian but their words aren't even close.
they are a good example of this Black Sabbath song there is no difference between the two...oh yes there is Black Sabbath is MORE doctrinly sounder.

"Have you ever thought about your soul - can it be saved?
Or perhaps you think that when you're dead you just stay in your grave
Is God just a thought within your head or is he a part of you?
Is Christ just a name that you read in a book when you were in school?

When you think about death do you lose your breath or
do you keep your cool?
Would you like to see the Pope on the end of a rope
do you think he's a fool?
Well I have seen the truth, yes I've seen the light and I've changed my ways
And I'll be prepared when you're lonely and scared at the end of our days

Could it be you're afraid of what your friends might say
If they knew you believe in God above?
They should realize before they criticize
that God is the only way to love

Is your mind so small that you have to fall
In with the pack wherever they run
Will you still sneer when death is near
And say they may as well worship the sun?

I think it was true it was people like you that crucified Christ
I think it is sad the opinion you had was the only one voiced
Will you be so sure when your day is near, say you don't believe?
You had the chance but you turned it down, now you can't retrieve

Perhaps you'll think before you say that God is dead and gone
Open your eyes, just realize that he's the one
The only one who can save you now from all this sin and hate
Or will you still jeer at all you hear? Yes! I think it's too late."

Terry Butler of Black Sabbath (Satanic worshipping rock group, lead singer Ozzy Osborn)

I'm 37 and have a Masters in Soc from Auburn University.

I also have twenty years as a professional or semi-professional musician, having played with such artists as Steve Forbert, Henry Gross and Dean Sapp and others.

Currently, I'm on WVUD as a fill in DJ until I get my own slot later on this summer.

I review albums for two popular websites and program an internet radio station at Live365.com so, no, I'm not just some kid off the street.

Now Playing: Delbert McClinton - "One of the Fortunate Few"

More of Rez Band's lyrics

song: 80,000 Underground

Bones beneath the shovel's blade
That's what the radio said
Years ago a pay-off made
Build a mall on top of the dead

80,000 Undergound

80,000 not a sound
80,000 nameless souls
Brothers, sisters of us all

A mother in her cotton dress
A little baby taken in distress
A hobo with a kindly face
There was a daughter of a southern slave

Bulging wallets, empty hearts
The walking dead push shopping carts
What price human dignity?
Betrayed because of poverty

Wow! This one is christian?

Really? Name one song of theirs that "glorifies evil".

so what if the song is about Satan behind abortion the kids listening to this stuff DO NOT KNOW THAT.[ all they hear is the blood and guts and gore and evil of the words that they MISS they whole message totally.
First of all, you have no way of knowing how someone else understands a song.

Second, what you're forgetting is that, while you and what's his name take song lyrics out of context, the kids who listened to this music heard the entire song in context and got the whole message, rather than just the one or two lines out of context that the two of you are presenting us with.

the music is SO LOUD and distorted you can't even hear the words much less know what they are saying and if it is doctrinally sound.
Again, you have no way of knowing what someone else hears.

they want you to think it is christian but their words aren't even close.
Like what?

Now Playing: Hugo Duarte - "Hillbilly Beach"

You will be hard pressed SFIC to find any christian lyrics by Rez Band, sad to say Satan worshippers Black Sabbath do better

Wow! ya post the lyrics of the whole song, show it does not mention anything Godly, that it glorifies satan, and you are accused of taking the song out of context?

Satan really has blinded some people's eyes to the truth.

Sad

I play mostly mainstream music but I do play Gospel music that fits in with what I'm playing. Very rarely, I'll put a CCM song on the list.

For instance, I will play the Fairfield Four's "There Must be a City" and Sam Cooke's "Jesus Gave Me Water" mixed in with mainstream tracks and will occasionally play CCM, such as Randy Stonehill or Julie Miller.

i can't tell by the lyrics if you guys are christian or not.
How is that supposed to tell you that they're a Christian? If Bev Shea sang, "She'll Be Coming ' Round the Mountain", would that mean that he isn't a Christian?

Likewise, Willie Nelson has several albums of traditional Gospel songs and hymns, but that doesn't mean that he's a Christian.

Now Playing: Greyhound – “Black and White”
