Tattoos good, bad,ugly.

    Personally I loathe them....they are so ugly...

    However in this little country town there are 3 tattoo shops and tats are huge......so many folk have multiple tattoos.This is a town with a large Maori presence and Maori Culture see tattooing as a rite of passage/honour etc.

    Muslim countries see tattoo wearers as being demon possessed I read somewhere....

    I have always thought they were disgusting. But, that's just my personal opinion. If you want one, think long and hard, know that sag38 disapproves, ignore sag38, and go do what you believe is right for you.

    Tattoos do hurt, but nothing like a heart catheterization. :rolleyes:

    The shock is not so much getting the tattoo, rather the atmosphere inside the shop itself. Wear earplugs and don't make eye contact with anyone. :eek: :tongue3:
