Tattoos, Skin Metal, etc. Should it disqualify one for serving in church?

We have all sinned and come short of the glory of God. Not one of us is worthy. Shouldn't we consider the hearts of the people we place over us and not necessarily the scars in there flesh left from past. For me it's enough to know them by there actions and not by there cover.

All I can think of with regards to this post is the passage that speaks of welcoming the well dressed man and setting aside the one who looks like a beggar. I would hope that we could look past outer things that do not tell us the true heart of a person and really get to know them.
