    Now you have TWO challenges;

    1) I challenge you to show me ONE verse in scripture where the Lord or Paul used those words in the manner in which you do upon the elect of God!
    2) “…you better check your own out with what you've been SLINGING around on the board.” You made the accusation – you show me where I ever called anyone derogatory names the way that you do?

As far as those scriptures in 2 Timothy goes – they don’t even come close to self imposed license to degrade people the way you do.
</font>[/QUOTE]Your challenges have been responded to. Your opinion of my "license" is not relevant to the facts which were presented for authority. Now leave it alone and go back to debating the subject of the thread.

    Thanks. [IMG]

Just what I thought! You have absolutely not one tinge of support for the mud-sliging you do on this board while the moderators sit back and let it happen.

I knew that you WOULDN'T or COULDN'T walk away. Those who preach about unrighteous anger are those who are VERY ANGRY using "their own words of righteous anger".

    Quote:

    Unquote.

No brother. LIke I told you, I'm not going to GO THROUGH all the posts on the board in which you've been "disputing". You've done rejected ONE PASSAGE from the Book for PROOFTEXT of Pauline identification, and you'll REJECT ten more just like it.

    Good day.

In the lower right hand corner of each post is a wistle
and the words: REPORT POST. If you click on it you
are writing an e-mail to the powers that be.
A link to (or maybe the post itself, is attached to
the message. So you can report violations of the
rules that happen and send a copy of the message.

Recommend you also include a portion of the rule broken
and the words that broke it (only you don't have to be
gross and use gross words, the locak PTB = powers that
be, know about gross words and can recognize them.
To identify these items lets the PTB figure out what you
see if wrong (they might actually see something else).

At the bottom is a route to the POSTING RULES (just after
the SOF = Statement of Faith).

In fact, what is called the "falling away" here is
called the "caught up" in 1 Thess 4:17.

This is the Rapture (which is pretrib) ! [IMG] !

My truth has been believed in and taught from the Bible by the most competent Bible scholars for 2,000 years, and it is solidly based upon the word of God. Your “truth” was invented by the tongues-speaking, vision-telling Irvingites in the late 1820’s and has absolutely no Biblical foundation.

Being a hillbilly or country bumpkin from West Virginia is no longer an excuse for profound ignorance of the Scriptures, and those who choose to remain ignorant shall answer to God.

I find it most regrettable to learn that even in the 21st century there are still Christians who don’t know the difference between a college and a playpen. Any graduate student in a New Testament studies program in a real school would already be competent in both Hebrew and Greek and would be in the process of learning how to apply various hermeneutical techniques to a variety of difficult passages in the New Testament under the instruction and guidance of a diverse faculty with the goal that the student will become competent in original exegesis of the Scriptures rather than being spoon-fed the beliefs of others. And I find it especially unfortunately that a Baptist would choose to take the low road and be spoon-fed garbage and thus bring a disgraceful reproach upon our tradition.

If engineering students cut corners in their education like you are doing, our buildings would topple and our bridges would crumble. If medical students cut corners in their education like you are doing, doctors would still be drilling holes in the heads of people with headaches so that the evil spirits could escape.

Craig, how is it a playpen? They are tracs accredited and have a quite qualified staff, as in earned doctorates from diverse accredited institutions. They probably have one of the most academic faculties of any small ifb college. Information you would know if you had taken the time to research it. BTW, tell mer about your doctorate. What in and where from, what was your thesis, etc.

Also, how am I cutting corners? I completed a B.A. Ed. in 1998 from Fairmont State College, and am in the process of making up the prerequisite Theology and Greek classes in my masters programs. So, again, how am I cutting corners? Some of us would spend more time posting scriptural proof of our position for you, but your mind is made up, so I don't waste my time. There have been countless posts on here about this subject. THere are thousands of Christians who believe in a pretrib rapture, including many educated men. It is arrogant and ignorant for you to pompously parade around like you are your own Bible Answers Man. When folks have scriptural proof against your positions, you attack their education and intellect.

    CARLAIMPINGE,

    CONCERNING YOUR CLAIM THAT BOTH JESUS AND PAUL USED LANGUAGE LIKE YOU USE ON THIS BOARD;

Posts of this type should not be allowed by the moderators.

IDENTIFICATION is NOT what you are doing by a long shot! What you do is degrade, ridicule, insult, humiliate, judge and condemn.

First of all, I know Jesus, and I know Paul! You're no Jesus, and you're no Paul! Yet, you seem to think that they have appointed you to be the judge, jury and executioner for them!

Secondly, I challenge you to show me ONE verse in scripture where the Lord or Paul used those words in the manner in which you do upon the elect of God!

YET, YOU HAVE NOT PROVIDED ONE VERSE WHERE EITHER JESUS OR PAUL USED LANGUAGE THAT YOU USE AS PER REQUESTED!

NEITHER HAVE YOU PROVIDED ANY SUPPORT FOR THIS ACCUSATION AS PER REQUESTED:….

INSTEAD YOU CONTINUE TO INSULT AND DEGRADE:

    :(

I was taught the PREWEEK rapture in church and bible school but never believed it. I believed what I read in the Holy Bible, which was that the Lord Jesus would deliver me from the wrath to come. That wrath to come was found in the MIDST of Daniel's week. (Matt.3,24, Luke 3, 21, 1 Thess.1, 5, 2 Thess.2) I had read the Bible through about 20 times before I left bible school. I was poor back then (not rich now though!) and was unable to purchase any of the books, which were reccommended. I now have the majority of all teaching different views. I have maintained my belief from when I first read it in the Scriptures.

I am disturbed over the continued (5 pages now) of name calling and questioning salvation, questioning education, et al that has gone on here.
