Cancer is just a nasty thing. I'm not going to wish it on anyone. I just hope he retains enough of his brain function to repent. I pray he usesthis time to reflect, and I pray a worker gets raised up to talk with Ted about salvation. It's going to be hard to witness to him with all the people that are going to be around.

Judging by your earlier posting where you said,

"The entire Kennedy clan has been a scourge on this nation, and I can't wait until their influence is just a black mark in history. Like Benedict Arnold, or Ephialtes. And yes, I meant that,"

I stand by that. You shouldn't add to it. I have had cancer treatments, and have allready said my opinion on other people suffering them. Ted Kennedy is a despicable man, I mean, he's at least as bad of a person as everybody tells me Rush Limbaugh is.

BTW, I also said this....

Isn't cherry picking quotes to make people look bad what you guys are accusing us of doing to Obama ?

At least you stand by you obnoxious statement, I'll give you that.

BTW, I wasn't cherry-picking your quotes, what you said had bearing on your farther statements and on this thread. I'll leave the cherry-picking to Bush and Cheney when they decide to get the U.S. involved in another no-win war!

But they're saying this is a malignant brain tumor.:tear:

I have known a couple of people who had one - one was inoperable, the other one not, neither survived more than a couple of years, and it was a horrible death for both of them. As time went by, they were more and more incapicitated, but were fully aware of what was going on until the end. I wouldn't wish this on anyone, even somebody like Ted Kennedy.

My prayers are with him and his family.:praying:

There are people who who think that they can speak for God at these times, declaring His wrath and judgement.

Who might that be? Surely no one here would wish a a brain tumor on anyone, let alone an eternity in hell. :tear:

Please read carefully LE, I did not say anyone would wish this on him, but I daresay plenty are willing to proclaim this as God's judgement on a "wicked, vile murderer."

There are plenty around who seem able to declare that God is judging.

To say it is categorically not a judgement from God is just as theologically ignorant as saying that it categorically is. We just do not know. What we should pray for him to be rightly related to Christ, and for physical healing if God wills.
