Teetotalers Beware

While living in Maine in the late summer (It really gets HOT/HUMID there then) we would gather up about 10 bushels of apples (minimum squeeze) from the dozens of apple trees on our property and head for one of the cider mills.

The early morning cider would be "fizzy" before we got home to freeze it (We had a freezer devoted to apple cider).
Later we would move the jugs onto the outside porch.

I don't know of any other Baptists in our area who wouldn't drink "fizzy" cider. Course that don't make it right.

Ayup!

Well, the French certainly know their adult beverages.
The question remains, then, do the French have motive to have added the alcohol to the cola? That would make it acceptable to drink for a Frenchman, would it not?
