finally, some time available to type...

Singapore is a small city state. The island on the most southern tip of the Asian continent. you can drive from the most eastern point of the island to the most western point in less than two hours. yet we have (i think) 4.6 million citizens. So 75% of our populace are housed in high rise apartments.
Property prices are very high in Singapore. Not everyone can afford to own a piece of land.

I'll leave the Visit Singapore Website to do the rest of the intro....

you could check out "Thaipusam". a hindu festival, coming up on the 25 of Jan. That's the time they pay for their sins and pierce themselves with skewers (like through the cheeks and another through the tongue). :( click here for Thaipusam

I'm also particularly proud of the section whereby visitors to Singapore write their responses. Mostly praises. That says alot and they say alot about what Singapore stands for. Click here for "What our visitors are saying"

I love Singapore and i thank God i was born here.

We are the southwestern tip of NC and people like to claim we are equal distance from Knoxville, Chattanooga, Asheville, and Atlanta. The translation of course is that we are and hour and a half away from anything.

Cherokee county was Indian territory until the removal Cherokee on the trail of tears in 1838 (not exactly our finest moment). Andrews lies in one of the most beautiful spots on earth, a valley surrounded by mountains with the Valley River flowing from Andrews to Murphy. I do love living here. Everyone should get to live in a place they love.

Today was especially great with bright sunshine in the afternoon, clear roads in the valley, but mountains covered in snow.
You are so right that you live in one of the most beautiful places on earth! My parent's live in a tiny town between Murphy and Haysville. It's breathtaking up there!

I live in little town called Macon, with a population of about 5,323. It is about 2.5 hours from St.Louis and Kansas City. We have a regular Walmart not to be confused with a super Walmart, a dollar general, and a lot of restarants. The original town is built on the roman system everything runs to downtown and the newer part of town is all around Walmart. The nearest mall is 1 hour or 52 miles away. We are the county seat of Macon County. We are called the "city of maples" Nobody knows why except we do have some maple trees in town. We host the national tractor pull champonionship (oh, boy) We have one of the best deer harvest in the state of missouri. We have lots of churches in macon. Mine included. We are the crossing of two highways 63 and 36. we have two motels. And this is really cute
Granny's husband's town is an hour away from mine. where the nearest mall is. My sister was born the same place.

Kayla,

So tell us.....what's the URL where we can see the full-sized, high-resolution, mega-pixelated photograph of you playing your guitar rendition of the Star Spangled Banner that opened the last five or so National Tractor Pull Championships??

You see, I'm doing a MAJOR wall papering job for the brand new home of some unknown individual who has the obviously-faked name of one Michael W. Smith, and got to thinking, you know.........

Casper, Wyoming, 50k in the center of the state and along the old Oregon Trail. Part of the actual Trail is now CY Avenue, on which I live. In doing road work about a mile down CY, they discovered Civil War/Indian War weapons, etc. Benefits of the largest city - mall, regional medical center, all sports tournaments, etc held here. 4 hours to Yellowstone (first US National Park), Grand Teton, Black Hills, Devils Tower (first US National Monument) and where the high prairies meet the Rockies.

1/8 of state population lives within 8 miles of my house. We are at the base of Casper Mountain, with switchbacks up to a beautiful county park, falls, most of the top of the mountain is pine meadows, picnic, camping, skiing and snowmobiling. North Platte River is 8 blocks from the house and huge reservoirs just a few miles upstream for walleye and trout.

Chase antelope (goats) and mulies (deer) off our clinic bushes almost daily. Hard working independent people, very conservative, not willing to listen to anyone. Think Dick Cheney (was our neighbor for years), Al Simpson, and Crazy Horse.

You all live in nice places, but a little pathetic compared to ANYWHERE in Wyoming. Like no place on earth.
Dr. Bob,

How far are you from Cheyenne Mountain Installation. That base is one of the very few places that actually have an IFB chaplain for the military.
