The only point to be considered is that they left their job! They should be in Austin in session - NOT trying to but the system for something they dont like. If they think the proposed law is wrong - then take it to the courts after passage….
Perhaps Texans can afford to look at it solely that way, as it is their legislators who are shirking, trying to avoid fulfilling what most Texans want. They should work to vote them out.
However, everyone should know by now that what happens in one state, especially one the size of Texas, can have huge ramifications for the country. For example, what’s happening at the border affects us all—the illegal immigrants, illegal drugs, etc.
How would the Dems react - if the R's had left the State to void voting on a bill!

The Dems are desperate to take national control of elections in order to aid them in rigging elections. They are mendaciously using this as an excuse for trying to force their will on every state.
