No double standard. I've been a moderator on this Board for over ten years. In those years, I can't remember a time I haven't publicly supported a member of the Admin Council. Let me explain my comment:
punctilious: means a person is very particular as to his word choice and expects the same from you.
pendant: means a person will act in a manner of a school teacher. It's hard to swallow when a person treats you like fifth grader. Think of the proverbial old maid schoolmarm aunt.
As for William Buckley here's a link to his Firing Line interviews. Personally, he reminds me in many ways of the late Dr. M. James Hollowood of Marantha Baptist Bible College and Seminary.
