Not war as in WAR----but civil unrest/riots-----enough to where the Prez would seriously consider Federal troops in to hot spots to squelch . . . ----except he would order up "Rubber" bullets and bean bags(etc, etc) in the sted of full metal jackets!!:type::type:

Not a prophet, and you can call me up on it if I am wrong, but it 'ain't gonna happen.'

The election will come and go and there will either a peaceful continuation of power or a peaceful transfer of power.

Yes---it IS crazy!!

Yes---over an election!!!

Yes---and Barry shouldn't let the door hit his behind on the way out!!!

The thing that has bothered me to no end about this election is that considering the two main parties, one should want to be very sure that in our zeal to get rid of bad, that we don't bring in worse. And when there is so much NEED to get rid of something, a lot of times people ignore what they might be getting in exchange.

That's why I think this election should be very far back on the list of important things to Christians and we should be gung-ho right now spreading the Gospel, in lieu of what we SHOULD KNOW is on the way.

Yep. Predicted to happen in 2009, then 2010, 2011, then 2012 by members of the far right. Might as well keep the perfect record intact and go for 2013.

It's hard to take seriously a party in which 2/3 of the members think President Obama was born outside of the country or is Muslim.

Given that Obama thinks that there are 57 States and that Ohio is spelled "Oiho" can you blame anyone for doubting that his birth place was in the U.S.?

>I am a Republican, but I am first a Christian....Obama insults both of those
groups.

How is a Christian supposed to react to insults?

This dude's a little off his rocker. No one's going to start a civil war over President Obama if he gets re-elected. This judge reminds me of how crazy the Republican Party has become. It's hard to take seriously a party in which 2/3 of the members think President Obama was born outside of the country or is Muslim.

And your source for the 2/3 number is? Or did you pull it out of ?

Here's your (tongue-in-cheek) answer:

So what does Texas have to do to survive as a Republic?

This just names a few of the items that will keep the Republic of Texas in
good shape. There isn't a thing out there that we need and don't have.

How would Florida do as an independent country?

1. Florida is the tenth-largest beef producing state. Cattle are very important to our agriculture.

2. We have the Kennedy Space Center so we would dominate the space industry.

3. We can be self-sufficient in citrus, tomatoes, and we can get seafood from the Gulf of Mexico. We even have a blossoming peach industry. They developed a new kind of peach that doesn't need as much cold as the ones they grow in Georgia.

4. We have many large companies, like CSX, based here. Businesses love Florida because we are a right-to-fire state and we have low taxes.

5. We have oil off-shore in the Gulf of Mexico.

So the idea is that if President Obama is not re-elected the liberal black population is going to start a war and if he is re-elected the conservative white people are going to start a war?

Huh?

My response was and is: If we have a depression in 2013 there will be chaos in the streets lf the metro areas. The country is far different than it was in the 1930's.

It's just crazy. All this over an election. If Barry tries to hand over our sovereignty to the UN, impeach his behind and toss him.

Do you remember OUR President invited the President of Mexico onto OUR soil in OUR congress to publicly rebuke OUR Arizona over a law? Where was OUR sovereignty then?

Is it so important who will drive the final nail? Really what does it matter who drives the final nail?

If I had a choice in the matter I say let Romney drive it in there good and tight then maybe all these folks who dissed Ron Paul will finally realize how wrong they've been.

Looks like war is coming - there is also going to be a civil war if the president is not re-elected.
I was about to bring up that point. Several weeks ago several threads were posted about the race riots if Obama lost, and a civil war if Obama wins. So which is it?
