Now y'all see why I selected him as my Heisman winner.

He was by FAR the best player on the field tonight and IMHO the best player in college football this year. [IMG]

He is obviously a good quarterback but let's not forget the rest of the team who made it possible.

good point, gb... I'd say most appreciate that the battles are won/lost mostly in the trenches... and no one person makes a team or wins a game all by his lonesome...

Congrat's Texas. I didn't even think USC should have been there. ND should have beaten them. Yea hat's off the Texas D at 4th and 2 yards. Great game way better than last years.

Awesome game and Vince Young is a very special player. I saw him live this year as I am only about an hour from Austin. If he stays one more year, Texas will have to be the favorite to repeat. He said he was leaning on staying before this game, but that all may have changed after this performace.

Vince Young is a stud. Wow. USC couldn't begin to stop him.

Pete Carroll will never say it publicly, but I think he went for it on 4th and 2 precisely because his defense couldn't stop them.

Reggie Bush made one of the dumbest plays on the field I've seen in a long time. With an opponenet the caliber of Texas, you just can't make mental mistakes like that.

I counted 3 terrible blown calls by the refs. Can we get the refs some new glasses? At least it wasn't a blown call that decided the national championship.

Finally, Vince Young is a stud. It bears repeating. Should we rename the Rose Bowl to Vince Young Field? Michigan couldn't stop him in the 05 Rose Bowl and USC couldn't stop him this year. Incredible performances.

Great run by USC, but Texas is a very deserving national champion.

What a game, what a game! yeah, I realize, as a former player, that there are 11 men on the field...but if not for Vince's being "in the zone"....

The better team won... as I predicted.

Texas' defense played poorly and USC's offensive line played very well... or else was holding. But... they made several huge plays to turn momentum.

Carroll's defense was no better than most Texas faced this year. Not even in the same league with OSU. So much for the debate about whether they were the "greatest team ever".

Good riddance of USC... now I can go back to despising Texas too.

Congratulations to the Longhorns on winning the Rose Bowl last night.

Since Vince Young is from Houston if he now decides to skip his senior season I figure that the Houston Texans will take him with the first pick to help generate fan interest.
