Thank you for accepting my request for membership. I recently moved to a new state and I am unable to join and attend church in my new neighborhood due to Covid. As the lockdowns continue month after month, I am having to explore more and more virtual alternatives to my old way of life. I am grateful to have stumbled upon this already established community and be allowed to join.

Skimming the archives led me to the link for BBN radio. I have been listening faithfully to Thru the Bible for a few months now, but need more to listen to. There is a weekly Bible verse? This week's verse is 2 Corinthians 5:21. Is there a webpage about the memory verse of the week?

I am interested in engaging in things that I know others are doing alongside me.

Welcome, but beware of wolves in sheep's clothing. This board is nothing like a unified church community. It is more like a theological battleground.

So glad to have you on board.
Sure sometimes we disagree on things - but usually in the end - we are all Christian brothers
Now if someone does get to bugging you too much, you can block them - and they will not be
able to see your posts and and you will not be able to see his.

Here is another great Christian Radio Station - Mars Hill Radio Network
Mars Hill Network – The Mars Hill Network Christian Radio

Each day the station has a "Pastor of the Day"
I am humbled to have that title the 4th Wed of each even month - hope you tune me in.

And if you are unable to attend a church service - I trust you are able to tune in on a FB church page.

Once again - welcome to BB - and always feel free to contact the Admin team if you have any questions.

Hamilton Square Baptist Church of San Francisco has been live streaming its services since March. The library is availble at the link provided, just click on "Live Stream". It's the picture of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Thanks for the live videos for Sundays, Salty, Squire Robertsson, and Iconoclast!

I watch a Sunday sermon for a church down the street, but everything other than one Sunday sermon is in Spanish, and ... I think it is important to have contact with any church in my neighborhood, but ... I need more as well. . The other closest church teaches primarily in Tagalog. I cannot drive due to a seizure disorder, and am entirely on foot right now. All the Baptist churches in English are quite far way. I still don't have a new ID for this state or access to affordable public transport. I am trusting the Lord to give me access to what he wants me to have access to. I am excited to check out these links, in the meantime. Thank you!

Welcome to the Baptist Board and I concur with what all the brethren had said so far with their positive remarks... Their are many resources from many on here and do not be afraid to ask anyone, we are here to help... If they don't know the answer they will direct you to someone who does... There are many ways to serve the Lord and I can tell you, you are not alone... Also their are other Christian ladies and I'm sure they will find you... Thank the Lord you found us and I pray you will enjoy your stay and be with us a long time... Brother Glen:)

Welcome to the BB.

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome and the explanations of board culture.

People are hurting so badly right now. I have learned that people who look like they are doing the worst are doing the very best that they can right now in the moment. Thankfully the Lord can help us do better, because on our own, we humans are a mess.

I do not worry about who gets elected; I worry for the people who are so scared. God is in control, but people struggle to trust that. So we tear each other apart. It is so sad. These are interesting times that I expect to be well documented in history books in the future.

Covid has increased my faith in God. The move across the country was because of Covid but He is protecting me and clearing the path in front of me. My days are not easy, but I am growing stronger in every way, especially my faith. It takes resistance to make us strong. Ease makes us soft. I trust and just keep moving forward where I see the cleared path. Maybe it is not always trust. Sometimes there is only the one option, and I shrug and keep moving for lack of any other option.

Hi Scarlett!

Brother Glen, I feel so blessed to have found this forum. Thank you!

Tell all your lady friends and invite them... This is nothing against the brethren but I feel after being here for over nineteen years and Scarlett O. has been here as long as I have, if there were more Ladies in these discussions, biblical argument might take on a kinder, gentler, Christian tone and I know I'm guilty also but I'm a work in progress... I'm sure all the brethren agree with what I just said... Brother Glen:)
