“And the Lord said to him: Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem: and mark Thau upon the foreheads of the men that sigh, and mourn for all the abominations that are committed in the midst thereof.”

Is it possible that Ezekiel was prophecying about 70 AD Jerusalem?

Only a refurbishing of the surface of the earth to remove all traces of sin, "the elements shall melt with fervent heat."

Peter is not referring to annihilation but the changing of one condition to another. This earth will last forever.

It’s a fundamental change of state when the Kingdom comes to Earth, but this fallen world will pass, at the restoration of all things. It will a new Heavens and new Earth together.

This person gives an interesting explanation that Revelation 13 was describing Nero as the 666 beast.

Nero is a prefigurement of the man of sin, and there have been many anti christs. But the Anti Christ will be the pinnacle of them all, having all of their traits and exceeding them all in evil.

The "restoration of all things" is referring to God's plan from before the foundation of the world to save man through His Son, Jesus Christ.

When man fell through man's sin the entire world fell with it.

God will restore all things to the way they were before man fell and brought this curse to earth.

Man who believes and trusts in God our Savior will be restored to life after death, and all that He created along with it in the "restoration of all things."

That’s right, but it won’t be a restoration to Eden under Adam but the Kingdom under Christ.

It will be a modern Eden but not in one spot in Babylon where it once was, it will be the whole world.

It will be the way God originally planned for it to be on this earth with man.

Here is what it was once like and will be again, just as it was in Garden of Eden before man fell.

Isaiah 11:6-9

"The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.

And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.

And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.

They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea."

Man and animals were all vegetarians before man brought this curse to earth. Animals did not kill one another.

But God will "restore all things" in the end.

The animals will be vegetarian and won’t kill each other, but I’ll be eating BBQ’d fatted calf, I’ll tell a little child lead them to my butchering table. ;)

If there is technicality I’ll find it, but I better get used to eating tofu just in case :Roflmao

Is this future, evil, man the "beast" described in Revelation 13?

I guess it's possible, along with baseball, tennis, etc.

I'm sure God is a St. Louis Cardinals fan.

Can you imagine a couple of glorified saints, able to walk through walls into a building as Christ did after His resurrection, playing a tennis match.

Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic would hang their heads in shame.

Steady on don’t get too excited, next you’ll be saying roulette and craps.

That's one of the many things we don't know.

We don't know exactly how much of this life we now have will be carried over.

It's like some of the OT being carried over into the NT.

How much and what of this life we don't know.
