The Adoption.

No such Biblical teaching as you misunderstood it.
What it says, ". . . According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children . . . ."
Romans 8:29, explained, ". . . For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, . . ." Per 1 John 3:2, ". . . when he shall appear, we shall be like him; . . .". So the meaning of Romans 8:23.
What part about chosen before the foundation of the world and predestined don't you understand?

Again how are we Son's far before we are ever adopted? Honestly, if we are son's...that means we are...adopted! How else could we, who are only able to be son's by being in Christ, be son's if we aren't already adopted?

By you asking even after the word of God clearly explaines, you really do not understand.
Are we physically resurrect or raptured as soon as we are born again?
Romans 8:23, ". . . waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. . . ." Who are the ones waiting? What are they waiting for for? The adoption. The adoption to do what?

37, you have nothing and keep avoiding the direct question being asked.
"How is a person a Son of God before he has ever been adopted?" Please answer the question. The texts in the Bible prove to me that it can't be done. Yet, you keep pushing it anyway. So, answer the question.

And you truly seem incapable of understanding it. It is a son that is to be placed as a son. And you deny the Biblical definition give by the word of God itself, Romans 8:23, ". . . the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. . . ."

Wow, you have literally regressed to speaking nonsense.

You must do this because you cannot accept the text that tells you you were chosen, elect, adopted and predestined before the foundation of the world.

You are now speaking nonsense when you state "It is a son that is to be placed as a son."

Good night.

Do you think the word of God is nonsense? I do not believe you do.
υιοθεσια is the Greek word meaning "to place as a son" being translated as adoption.
Is a compound word.
υιος meaning son
And the second part is from τιθημι meaning to place.

Your interpretation is nonsense. Keep up here. You imagine that you are a full blown son of the most high God, but not yet adopted as his child. That imagination of yours cause you to be illogical, despite the Bible telling you that your adoption is set before the foundation of the world. This is why you receive your inheritance in the culmination of the New Covenant.

Romans 8:23 defines what the adoption is. ". . . waiting for the , to wit, the redemption of our body. . . ."

The term is only use by the Apostle Paul.

The term adoption, meaning to be placed as a son, is used five times.

Romans 8:15, ". . . For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. . . ."

Romans 8:23, ". . . And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. . . ."

Romans 9:4, ". . . Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises; . . ."

Galatians 4:5, ". . . To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. . . ."

Ephesians 1:5, ". . . Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, . . ."

It's biblical. Very few people hold your view while the reformed community holds my view. The issue isn't about being biblical. The issue is about you being unwilling to accept what the Bible says about adoption. You want to be a full fledged son, like Jesus, but then later you imagine you'd be adopted. That view is not found anywhere in the Bible. We cannot be son's of God if we haven't already been adopted.
