    Grace reigns through Him !

    Rom 5:21

21 That as sin hath reigned unto death [through adam], even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

How does Grace reign through Righteousness. The word reign is the greek word basileuō and means:

    I.
to be king, to exercise kingly power, to reign
    A.
of the governor of a province

    B.
of the rule of the Messiah

    C.
of the reign of Christians in the millennium

    II.
metaph. to exercise the highest influence, to control

Now we all know how effectual death has reigned through the lesser adam, but what man is so ignorant to is how Grace reigns effectual through Christ, how that it opposes successfully that death which reigned through adam !

Now Grace reigns successfully by the Saving and Converting Effects in those Christ died for and redeemed Titus 2:11-14

11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

    12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

    13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

The Grace here in Titus 2:11 is describing what it means for Grace to reign through the Righteousness of Christ of Rom 5:21 !

When it[Grace] reigns through Christ, it brings Salvation, it actually converts the one for whom Christ died.

Now I know that this passage has been sorely perverted by antichrist as to mean that all men without exception have been offered Grace or that it has been made available, but now it must be accepted by the freewill of sinful man for it to produce any effects ! Thats a Lie however !

This most blessed passage of scripture actually informs us just how effectual the Grace of God through Christ abounds toward sinners Christ died, it Illustrates the blessed Truth of how the Grace of God through the redemptive work of Christ, and His Righteousness, does reign through Righteousness in the Honor of His Righteousness on their behalf Rom 5:18

18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.24

Was made a Life giving Spirit !

    1 Cor 15:45

45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

The Last Adam was made a Life-Giving Spirit, that's what the word quickening means, Life giving, for if we recall, Jesus said on occasions, that His Purpose was to give Life Jn 6:33

33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

    Jn 10:10,28

10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

    Jn 17:2

2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.

This Life Giving was premised, based on Him putting away their sin debt, by dying the death they deserved for the wages of their sins Rom 6:23

23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Now understand, their being by nature dead in trespasses and sins, spiritually dead and alienated from the Life of God, is the wages of sin, Death!

Now , its by this paying of their sin debt by His death for them, and He being quickened from the dead after paying their debt 1 Pet 3:18

18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh[for their sins], but quickened by the Spirit: Because their sin debt was paid in full, See Rom 4:25 also!

Now the word quickened here in 1 Pet 3:18 is the greek word zōopoieō:

    I.
to produce alive, begat or bear living young

    II.
to cause to live, make alive, give life

And its the same word quickening in 1 Cor 15:45, again meaning to give life, or to cause to live,B.to restore to life

D.of the spirit, quickening as respects the spirit, endued with new and greater powers of life

So as being quickened from the dead as their Head and Shepherd, after having put away all causes for them being in death, even Spiritual death of which they were born naturally, having paid their sin penalty, death no more owed by them to God's Law and Justice, they are given Life, Spiritual Life from the dead, which is evidence that their sin debt has been paid, so Justice demands it ! 24

Was made a Life giving Spirit ! 2

Christ as the quickened Head, having paid the sin death for His dead body, He must give Life to His Own Body, the Church, as the quickened Head, He himself gives Life to every member of His Body, Paul wrote earlier to the Corinthian Believers 1 Cor 12:27

27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

So each particular member of His Body will receive quickening from Him 1 Cor 15:45

45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

Their being quickened from the Spiritually dead is legally due unto them because their sin debt has been paid in full, and death of any kind, is due because of the sin debt Rom 6:23

23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

So the quickening they receive in this life from Spiritual death is the Gift of God through Jesus Christ, the Last Adam their Lord !

Now understand something, If only the Head be quickened, and not each member in particular of His Body, then the quickening is incomplete and so is Justice ! 24

It bought all for whom He died with a Price !

    1 Cor 6:19-20

19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

No doubt these scriptures apply strictly to the believers in Christ, however, Just when were they bought with a Price ? Was it before or after they became believers?

It set us free from unbelief, a servant of sin!

Christ death was for the purpose of setting free from unbelief/servitude of sin for all whom He died, if it did not produce that result for each of them He died for, it failed the purpose of God. Rom 6:6

Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Now even though this was written to believers, it applies to all for whom He died, and God's purpose therein was to set us free from the service of sin and or unbelief! Thats primarily what being a servant of sin is, simply a unbeliever in the flesh. When Jesus said this Jn 8:34

34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.

He means no more by it than they are unbelievers, and in servitude to it. Here in Rom 6:6 Paul is saying to and of those Christ died for , that the connection we have with sin in our adamic nature, by which we are imprisoned to sin and unbelief, it has been destroyed, in order that we be no more servants of sin, unbelief, which equates to Jesus having by His death for us, setting us free from it Jn 8:36

36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

It set us free from unbelief, a servant of sin! 2

Now it is Christ that sets us free from the servitude of sin symptomized by unbelief and dead works of false religion. So if one does not ever come to believe the Gospel, its because they are still being a servant of sin, and if and when they do come to embrace the Gospel, its the evidence that for them, Christ's death hath set them free, that is the effects of His death, it hath liberated them from service to sin, and God should be thanked for that as Paul writes here Rom 6:17

17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin or unbelievers, but ye have obeyed/believed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.

Believing or obeying from the Heart the Gospel is something God should be thanked for ! Not mans idol freewill ! Believing the Doctrine of the Gospel is an act of obeying, as it is indicated here Rom 10:16

16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

Now the word obeyed in Rom 6:17 and here in Rom 10:16 are the same greek word hypakouō and means:

    I.
    to listen, to harken
    A.
of one who on the knock at the door comes to listen who it is, (the duty of a porter)

    II.
    to harken to a command
    A.
to obey, be obedient to, submit to

Paul says that if one obeyed, then God should be Thanked for that Rom 6:17.

The same would apply for Rom 10:9-10

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

That action if performed by us, God should be Thanked!

Antichrist followers would tell us that mans own freewill is responsible for believing from the heart the Doctrine of Christ and His finished work, which is a lie !

Take your pick, either God , Christ should get the Full credit for ones believing the Gospel, or mans freewill gets the credit, or even partial credit, but it cannot be both ! Remember, we must be first set free from the servitude of sin to become a believer! Does Christ death effects that freedom, liberty or mans freewill ?

Causes to Live by Faith and why ?

To live by Faith is the same as belief of the Truth 2 Thess 2:13

13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

That word belief is actually the noun Faith, the greek word pistis which is translated faith 239 xs in NT !

Now Faith or belief of the Truth [Salvation] is the result and effect of The Sanctification of the Spirit, which is the result or effect of the Death and or Offering of Christ Heb 10:10

10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

The writer states as a fact, that them who are now believers, had been sanctified by the offering of the body of Christ, which simply means His death also see Heb 2:9 ! This must mean all for whom He tasted death for Heb 2:9

9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

By that death, or offering of His Body for them, they have been sanctified by it. Now the word sanctified in Heb 10:10 is the greek word hagiazō and means:

    I.
to render or acknowledge, or to be venerable or hallow

    II.
to separate from profane things and dedicate to God
    A.
    consecrate things to God

    B.
    dedicate people to God

    III.
    to purify
    A.
    to cleanse externally

    B.
to purify by expiation: free from the guilt of sin

    C.
to purify internally by renewing of the soul +++++

This above definition is often neglected, overlooked and even denied, and that is, all for whom Christ died, it effects in them, a purification internally, a renewing of the soul, that which Paul refers to here Titus 3:5

    5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

This and 2 Thess 2:13 The Sanctification of the Spirit are the exact same thing!

This again is the direct result of the Offering of the Body of Christ Heb 10:10 which is another way of saying His Death or His Blood!

This purification internally results in the belief of the Truth or Faith! That word sanctified in Heb 10:10 is also in the perfect tense which tense means:

The perfect tense in Greek corresponds to the perfect tense in English, and describes an action which is viewed as having been completed in the past, once and for all, not needing to be repeated.

Jesus' last cry from the cross, TETELESTAI ("It is finished!") is a good example of the perfect tense used in this sense, namely "It [the atonement] has been accomplished, completely, once and for all time."

The basic thought of the perfect tense is that the progress of an action has been completed and the results of the action are continuing on, in full effect. In other words, the progress of the action has reached its culmination and the finished results are now in existence. Unlike the English perfect, which indicates a completed past action, the Greek perfect tense indicates the continuation and present state of a completed past action.
    Greek Verbs (Shorter Definitions)

So the Truth is this, all for whom Christ died are by it Sanctified and will as a result of it be experiencing spiritual blessings that evidence it, simply based upon the Death of Christ and its meritorious virtue!

Now all this means without a shadow of doubt if we understand God's Truth, that Sanctification of the Spirit resulting in belief of the Truth 2 Thess 2:13 is the Blessed Effects of Christ's Offering or Death Heb 10:10, in fact if 2 Thess 2:13 does not happen for every one Christ died for, then Heb 10:10 is not true! 25

Causes to Live by Faith and why ? 2

    Heb 10:10

10 By the which will[will of God] we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

The Sanctification here spoken of as a result of the offering of Christ or Death, same thing, its according to the will of God

It guarantees, makes certain or sure that the following happens unto each one Christ died for Heb 10:16-18

    16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.

This happens for sure #1 God will put His Laws into their hearts ! These are Spiritual Laws, #2 He will put them in their Minds !

That reverses what is said here Rom 8:7

7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

By this He gives them a True Saving Knowledge of God and Christ Jn 17:3

3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

#3 It makes certain their remission of sins and Gods non remembrance of them no more !

They shall receive a Knowledge of the same Lk 1:77

77 To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins

Which was accomplished by the Offering of the Body of Christ or His Death Heb 10:10 !

The Covenant Death of Christ effects all these things, as to confirm what Paul writes here Rom 8:32

32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

How can God have given us Christ without also giving us Faith to live by Him by ! As it is written, The Just shall live by Faith Rom 1:17 !

It makes us dead to the Law and sin !

All for whom Christ died, by that death alone, have been made dead to the Law and sin! Rom 7:4

4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

Now some may say that Paul here is referring to believers, and that is absolutely correct, he is speaking to believers because the Truth of what he is stating can only be true of believers, however it was just as true of believers before they became believers, for the Truth of the matter[being dead to the law] had nothing to do with their believing, except it was the foundation upon why they do and must believe.

Unbelievers whom Christ died for are dead to the Law as to its condemning power, for it cannot condemn them, and neither can sin be charged to them. All this is True, not because they believed, or repented, but because Christ has died for their sins against God's Law and Justice, they are 100% acquitted, and so they are dead to the Law, by the Body of Christ, which is to say His Death for them!

It makes us dead to the Law and sin ! 2

Because of the accomplishment of the Body of Christ, that is to say His Death, all for whom who died, before they believe, repent, or obey in any capacity, and even while they are born sinners, disobedient, children of wrath by nature as others Eph 2:3, alientated from the life of God, and enemies in their minds by wicked works Col 1:21,notwithstanding , they are born in this world Dead to the Law of God ! How ? BY THE BODY OF CHRIST ! This is not my opinion, but tru biblical fact Rom 7:4

4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

Now, God had a purpose for that. It was, so that they who are now dead to the Law of God, by Christ's death, it was in order that, or that it may result to the purpose of being married to another, which is Christ! See before one can be Married to Christ conjugally and Lawfully, their legal husband must be dead, which in this case is the Law of God.

That word married in the original ginomai means:

I come into being, am born, become, come about, happen.

This is the New Birth language, being born again, to come into being, and thats how we become Married to Christ experimentally, by the New Birth, and thats the end result of being dead to the Law by the Body of Christ. Christ's death destroyed the condemning relationship that God's People had under the Law, so that they can legally start a New Fresh Life with their Husband Christ, a Life of Love and Fellowship. Thats why Paul wrote to the Corinthians 1 Cor 1:9

9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

Thats the intimacy of the Marriage Relationship, Fellowship! Its the greek word koinónia:

(lit: partnership) (a) contributory help, participation, (b) sharing in, communion, (c) spiritual fellowship, a fellowship in the spirit.

Thats what Marriage is, a Partnership !

Now, with this in Mind, its a must that everyone Christ died for comes into this Partnership with Christ experimentally, if not, it overthrows the purpose of God and the designed end result for Christ having died for them and ending their relationship with the Law ! And this can never be !

Ensures Spiritual Blessing to Seed of Abraham!

Understand this, Christ's death on the Cross was to ensure the Spiritual Blessings Eph 1:3-4 upon Abraham's Seed amongst the Gentiles Gal 3:13-15

13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

15 Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man's covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto.

16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

17 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of no effect.

Now notice, the Gentiles were to partake of the Blessings of Abraham, receive of the Spirit, according to God's Covenant to Abraham Gal 3:14,16,17 !

His death therefore in fact ensures us that He redeemed from the curse of the Law Vs 13 [both jew and gentile] by the Body of Christ or His Death, ensures that all should be Married to Another Rom 7:4, even to Him that was raised from the dead. Now all for whom by His death have been redeemed from the curse of the Law, do receive the Promise of the Spirit, which makes manifest that they are of Abraham's Seed, and the Spirit communicates in them all needed Spiritual Blessings to do the Will of God as Per Heb 13:20-21

20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ [by His Spirit]; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. 25

    Delivered first, then serve !

    Lk 1:74

74 That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,

75 In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.

This is yet an accomplishment of the death of Christ for all whom He died, jew and or Gentile, that by His death alone they are delivered from all their spiritual enemies, that they may serve God !

That word delivered in Vs 74 is the greek word rhyomai and means:

    I.
to draw to one's self, to rescue, to deliver

    II.
    the deliverer

It also means to be saved "[that] without fear out of [the] hand of our enemies having been saved to serve him"

When Christ's says that He will draw all to Himself in Jn 12:32

32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

Then He is saying that because of His Death or being lifted up, He will rescue / deliver/ save all men to Himself. To serve Him !

So to be drawn by Christ is to be delivered, rescued, saved from all enemies, especially spiritual enemies, such as spiritual death and unbelief, and the devil, and the flesh, all the enemies of the soul that prevent one from serving God in Faith, in Holiness and Righteousness all the days of their lives!

Its the same word and the same thing Paul writes of here to the Colossian Church Col 1:13

Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

You see, that's an spiritual enemy, the power of darkness ! We must be rescued from that Power before we can serve. The word serve in Lk 1:74

    is the greek word latreuō:

    I.
    to serve for hire

    II.
to serve, minister to, either to the gods or men and used alike of slaves and freemen
    A.
in the NT, to render religious service or homage, to worship

    B.
to perform sacred services, to offer gifts, to worship God in the observance of the rites instituted for his worship
    i.
of priests, to officiate, to discharge the sacred office

We are by Christ's delivering death, enabled to serve and worship God as described here Jn 4:23-24

23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

After being delivered, then we offer up spiritual sacrifices unto God through Jesus Christ 1 Pet 2:5

5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

By His death alone we are made Sovereignly Priests unto Our God, for thats how we offer spiritual sacrices, again 1 Pet 2:5

5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

We became this not by our will, but by the Blood of Christ, which says so here Rev 1:5-6

5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

But before we can serve as such, we must first be delivered/rescued from our enemies Lk 1:74

74 That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,

False religion says their freewill delivered them to first serve God, then God saves them, they put duty before deliverance, whereas deliverance is before duty ! We do duty not to get delivered, but because we are delivered we do duty, such as Faith and Repentance !

    Gal 1:4-5

4 Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver/rescue us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:

5 To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Another spiritual enemies, the world ! Paul says by Christ giving His Life for Our sins, it was for the Purpose of effecting deliverance, according tothe Will of God !

In fact, Paul here is saying the very same thing Zacharias stated here Lk 1:74

74 That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,

The world is our enemie James 4:4

4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

And guess what ? We are all by nature, in friendship with the world, we cannot help but be Eph 2:2-3

Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

Thank God that through Jesus Christ, all for whom He died have been delivered from the world, to serve God in Holiness and Righteousness all the days of their Life !

    Raised because of our Justification!

If Christ's death alone did not fully Justify from all sin and guilt and penalty, all for whom He died, all for whom sins that had been laid to His charge, had they not been really and truly vindicated, then He himself could not have been risen from the dead, and He and they He died for would be still in their sins, the point of 1 Cor 15:17

17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.

Meaning their sins must still be charged against them against God's Law and Justice!

If Christ had not risen, not only us, but He also would have perished for our sins, again Paul's point of 1 Cor 15:12-18 !

But in that He was indeed raised, it means that that He and all those whose sins which had been charged to Him, have been Justified, vindicated from all sin, and this fact is what is caused to be received from the Gospel revelation to them 1 Cor 15:3-4;Rom 1:16-17 !

Now if Christ was freed from our sins imputed to Him, MUCH MORE, were all those freed from sin for whom He died Rom 6:7

7 For he that is dead [with Christ] is freed from sin.

The word freed here is the greek word dikaioō:

    I.
to render righteous or such he ought to be

    II.
to show, exhibit, evince, one to be righteous, such as he is and wishes himself to be considered

    III.
to declare, pronounce, one to be just, righteous, or such as he ought to be

This is really saying, those who Christ died for, so they died in Him, when He died, consequently they are Justified from all sin, they are declared Righteous!

As Long as Christ raised from the dead, all for whom He died are declared Righteous before God, and freed from all sin believer or not, the condition is simply Christ having died for them! 25

    As living stones!

    1 Pet 2:5

5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

All for whom Christ died, He as a Living Stone Vs 4

4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,

He makes all for whom He died, and whom He is the Head of, He makes them Living stones, for He gives them [His Body] Life 1 Cor 15:45

45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam [The Living Stone of 1 Pet 2:4] was made a quickening spirit.

That word quickening means to give life, so He becomes a Life giving Spirit. Now by this they become experimentally meet for building material to build His Church Matt 16:18

And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

    Zech 6:12-13

And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The Branch; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the Lord:

Even he shall build the temple of the Lord; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.

    Building a Spiritual House 1 Pet 2:5

5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

Christ building His Church/Temple also as seen fufills prophecy Zech 6:12-13, now to do this He must make them alive, make them Living stones, this He does by quickening them to Life 1 Cor 15:45.

Now notice, the Believer is coming to Christ 1 Pet 2:4 as in being drawn to Him the Living stone, so their coming to Him are as Living stones 1 Pet 2:4-5

4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,

5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

Their coming to Christ as Lively stones is to be built up into a Spiritual House ! The important point here is that they had to be first made Living stones to come to the Living Stone, for He does not use dead material !

The word for coming in Vs 4 is the greek word proserchomai and means:

    I.
    to come to, approach

    II.
    draw near to

    III.
    to assent to

    It also means :

to attach oneself to Christ, to come to a participation in the benefits procured by him.

    To assent means:

to agree or concur; subscribe to , acquiescence; compliance.

Thats actually what confessing is, to agree or to say the same thing ,I.to say the same thing as another, i.e. to agree with, assent

All this has been accomplished and effected by the Death of Christ!

That we should live unto Christ that died for Us !

    2 Cor 5:15

15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

One of the unfailing Purposes of God in the Death of Christ, it is that all for whom He died [The Elect] shall henceforth not live unto themselves, but to Live unto Him which died for them, and rose again! So the result of Christ's Death in the Purpose of God is to reverse the plight of God's People of what happened in Adam here Isa 53:6

6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

The Elect of God, His sheep went astray in Adam and turned to living unto ourselves, are own way, but Christ's death puts an end to that by bringing us back to God 1 Pet 3:18

18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

Or that He might return us back to the Bishop of our souls 1 Pet 2:24-25

24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

25 For ye were as sheep going astray[went our own way, live unto ourselves]; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

The word returned is the greek word epestraphēte :

    (a) trans: I turn (back) to (towards), (b) intrans: I turn (back) (to [towards]); I come to myself.

To cause to return, to bring back. Its actually what we saw in the prodigal son when we read Lk 15:17-18

17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!

18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,

he is being returned passive and he is now active in it, conversion. The word epestraphēte also is in the aorist indicative passive, which means he is being returned, which can also be the middle voice because he is being made to cooperate actively, for man is active in his repentance once it is given by God!

Christ's death effects a conversion, return back to God, even God in Christ! 26

That we should live unto Christ that died for Us ! 2

    2 Cor 5:15

15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

Now exactly who are the "they which live " here ? Why its the all that He died for and rose again!

When Christ rose again from dying for those He died for, not only did He Live, but they Lived with Him, being in Union with Him as their Head!

Now this blessed Truth was indicated from the OT in this here word Isa 26:19

Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.

Those Christ died for is His Body the Church, so when He Lived, His Dead Body Lived together with Him.

Paul says it here as well Eph 2:6

6 And hath raised us[His Dead Body] up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

Peter states the same purpose to live as a result of Christ's death for us here 1 Pet 2:24

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Just as in 2 Cor 5:15

15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

Peter also uses the conjunction hina which means for this purpose, God's intended result, So God's Purpose for the Death of Christ and what the results will be are here revealed!

Understand this, if you and i Preach that anyone for whom Christ died, does not end up as a result of it, Living unto God and Christ that died for him, Living a Life of Faith in Christ, then we are basically saying that Christ's Death failed God's intended Purpose! Is that how you think today? If so, woe unto you, you are against Christ!

That we might be Married to Another!

As stated previously, the Death of Christ accomplished for all whom He died, no exceptions, that they are dead to the Law, but that for a purpose, that they should be Married to Another, That being the Lord Jesus Christ Rom 7:1-4

Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?

2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.

3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead[Jesus Christ], that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

In other words, if those Jesus Christ died for do not become Married experimentally to Christ, Him that was raised from the dead for their Justification [Rom 4:25] then the Purpose of God for His Death for them has badly misfired, failed to produce God's intended results!

But what is it that entails being Married to Christ? It is to be betrothed to Him her Husband unto Faithfulness! This is indicated here Hos 2:20

20 I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the Lord.

That word betroth means to espouse :

to marry. to give (a woman) in marriage !

But She is also caused to be Faithful in the Marriage, She is a Faithful Wife to Her Husband. The word faithfulness in Hos 2:20 'emuwnah means:

    firmness, fidelity, steadfastness, steadiness

In fact the word is translated Faith here Hab 2:4

Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith

Yes, this means that Christ died for those , and severed their relationship to the Law [Rom 7:4], for the purpose of them living to Him by Faith or in Faithfulness!

The Just SHALL live by Faith or Faithfulness. That word Just as it is written in the NT as Per Rom 1:17

17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

This which is restating Hab 2:4 the greek word for Just is dikaios which is translated righteous here Rom 5:19

For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous or Just.

The Obedience of Christ, meaning His death, made the many He died for Righteous or Just, same greek word, and the promise to the Just is that they shall live by Faith or Faithfulness and so fulfill the prophecy of Hos 2:20

I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the Lord.

That is, they shall know as Jesus says here Jn 17:3

3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

Folks, its impossible for one whom Christ died, its impossible for them not to come to Live by Faith, if that were so, the Purse of God in Christ's death for them has failed! If you or i teach that one for whom Christ died dies in unbelief and their sins Jn 8:24, we teach that Christ's death was a failure and shall answer for that in the day of Judgment! 26

He died for all, in order that ?

    2 Cor 5:15

15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

The word That underlined above is the greek conjunction Hina and means:

that, in order that, so that,

hína (a subordinating conjunction) – for the purpose that (in order that), looking to the aim (intended result) of the verbal idea. 2443 /hína ("for the purpose that") is "the semantically marked (dramatic) way of expressing purpose in Greek (as compared for example to the plain infinitive)" (G. Archer).

And 2 Cor 5:15 is informing us of the Purpose, Intention, Aim and result God had in the Death of Christ regarding all for whom He died, His Elect.

One of the unfailing purposes of God in the Death of Christ, what He aimed at and must be the result of it, it is that all for whom He died, shall Live henceforth not unto themselves in the flesh [unregenerate], but instead to Live unto Him that died for them, and rose again !

So the consequences and effects of His death reverses what happened in adam in Isa 53:6

6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Hence, that constitutes living unto ourselves, like what the prodigal son decided to do Lk 15:12-13

12 And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.

13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.

he began living unto himself, However the death of Christ puts an end to that and will cause a change, and to begin to Live unto Him that died for us !

Now back in the text Paul refers to " they which Live " 2 Cor 5:15

15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

Exactly who are they ? They which Live are those who rose again from the dead with Christ, for He as their Head and Saviour Lives, so they must Live also, so they shall and must Live unto Him who is Both God and Man, they are that Seed which shall serve Him Ps 22:30

30 A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.

Its that Seed He shall see Live Isa 53:10

10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.

Now if anyone Christ died for, does not live unto Him that died for them and rose again, and stop living unto themselves, then Christ's Death failed to produce the result's that God intended. If anyone holds to a view that believes that one soul shall perish for whom Christ died, that is what you believe whether you agree with it or not, you believe that Christ's Death failed its God given Purpose, and that is Blasphemy and Antichrist thinking !

It delivers and draws to Himself !

One of The scriptures most corrupted by false teachers is that which makes Christ death a Saving Success for all whom He died, it is written Jn 12:32

32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

Now heretics tell us that this Truth here is not Salvation and Conversion, but only a making of all people to have a chance at getting saved, if they use their freewill ! The Truth of the matter is this, Jesus is stating what will be the end results of all for whom He died, they shall be converted to Him ! The actual drawing here is evidence of their being delivered from the power of sin. The word draw helkó:

properly, induce (draw in), focusing on the attraction-power involved with the drawing.

metaphorically, to draw by inward power, lead, impel:

The inward power is the Spirit of God !

Now we have a scripture that states what the Christ death should accomplish Lk 1:74

74 That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,

The word here delivered is crucial, its the greek word rhuomai and actually means:

to draw to oneself, i.e. deliver ,rhýomai (from eryō, "draw to oneself") – properly, draw (pull) to oneself; to rescue ("snatch up"); to draw or rescue a person to and for the deliverer.

So what this means, the ones as a result of Christ being lifted up, who are drawn to Him, they are and have been delivered and rscued by Him, they are saved by Him, evidenced by them being drawed to Him. Does it not say " will draw " denotes certainty, its a promise !

Its a future indicative active. The indicative means :

The indicative mood is a statement of fact or an actual occurrence from the writer's or speaker's perspective. Even if the writer is lying, he may state the action as if it is a fact, and thus the verb would be in the indicative mood. It may be action occurring in past, present, or future time.

Also its in the future tense which means:

Just like the English future tense, the Greek future tells about an anticipated action or a certain happening that will occur at some time in the future.

Its certain says Christ, all for whom I am lifted up in behalf of shall be rescued, delivered and drawn to my self. The word draw also means to persuade, which is bring to belief !

God the Father desrves the Credit for giving Christ to deliver His People Col 1:12-13

12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

That word delivered is the same word used in Lk 1:74

74 That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,

The end result of Christ's redeeming death is serve God without fear !
