I thought this was a debate about the "Best cup of Coffee" we are getting off-topic with a debate about debates maybe someone could start new thread about "Best debates to have" maybe I will after I try this coffee.

But anyone who chooses to start the thread may start without me I will join in and stay on topic. Ahhhh another cup of coffee (I wonder what kind this is)

What kind of a debate is a debate about coffee?? I thought this was for debates on theological and cultural topics -- it used to be. You'd never have a topic like coffee here. Usually question about what kind of coffee you like are in the Forum for Polls or in some Fellowship forum.

If this is allowed, why not start a "debate" on what kind of dept. store people like, what kind of ice cream they prefer, what kind of shaving cream is best, etc. Really thought provoking stuff like that.

You left out gluttony! Baptists are always talking about stuffing their faces at dinner meetings etc.

Cheers,

Jim

EXCELLENT idea as usual!! Go ahead choose one or two of your suggested topics (if two are chosen then make sure to start to seperate debates) I will gladly join in if I have any input or question and without complaint as long as we stay civil. ahhhhhh I think I will have one more cup of Java.:tonofbricks:

The best coffee... by far... will never be found in North America (unless you are in Southeast Florida and get a Cuban Coffee). Otherwise, South America is the place to go for excellent cafe.

Coffee IS Baptist "culture" for your information! Maybe you're not orthodox?

Even instant is orthodox I believe! :tonofbricks:

Man!...Sorry Marcia. It's just too hard to be meanly debating in a coffee tread. How bout this?

Yes, it did.

I will when people quit debating silly stuff here.

I submit that hand towels, cream in coffee, pennies, are just as significant as coffee. Let's debate it!

The three top drinks in England, aside from bitters, is tea, coffee and cocacola, and in that order.

The best cuppa I had was in the other forum where it served as an oasis in a dark place of nebulous rabbiting that took one nowhere and left him there.

This coffee is cold!

Jim
