A shameless attempt to use God's word to prop up your political bigotry.

"Liberalism denies the absolute jurisdiction of Jesus Christ, who is God, over individuals and over society."

So kinda like evangelical conservatives liberally deciding that they were electing a President and not a pastor so the fact that the Mormon rejected Jesus as absolute Lord and Savior over their lives and everything in society was liberalism.

Or the way the political conservatives liberally decided that they can look past the very liberal decision of Donald Trump to not need the forgiveness of God, or all of his other very liberal policy ideas because he has an R after his name?

By golly, the conservatives really do look like liberals in the recent choosing of their party nominees.

Jesus was a liberal. If you do not believe me just ask the Pharisees.

Okay. Pharisees, was Jesus a liberal?

Their answer:
"They said, “Moses permitted a man to write a certificate of divorce and send her away" [Mark 10:4]
Jesus' response: "And He *said to them, “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery against her;and if she herself divorces her husband and marries another man, she is committing adultery” [Mark 10:11-12].
Who is the liberal?

Who advocates the sufficiency of the basics, and who is constantly imposing new regulations? Jesus said in Matthew 23 that they [Pharisees] "sit in the chair of Moses;" i.e., they like to make new laws to further regulate peoples' actions.
Who is the liberal?

In the matter of healing, Jesus broke the(ir) regulations; one example of which is in Luke 14. He dared to do it without their say so, without a referral, even allowing her to pick her own doctor. But they wanted to penalize both doctor and patient for not doing it according to their standards, not even clearing the funding with the government.
Who is the liberal?

Just sad. Anyone with the indwelling of Jesus Christ should avoid supporting this man as leader of anything. Supporting him will only further contribute to his march straight to hell.

He's already given testimony that the richer he becomes and the more power he grasps, the less likely he is to believe that he needs to be forgiven by God.

Why would a Christian want to contribute to that?

I think any Christian who supports him, especially after he said he doesn't ask God for forgiveness, has this man's eternal hell bound blood on his hands.

And putting that other candidate in office will turn him around?

That's a more relevant question if put to Peter Popoff's followers.

How many presidents thought they didn't need God's forgiveness? And who else must Christians disdain whom many instead support, or like per se? Mark Twain? Thomas Jefferson? Netanyahu? Milton Berle?...

That other candidate has nothing to do with whether or not he comes to believe himself to need a Savior. And I continue to think it's disgusting how many Christians are more concerned about winning an election or keeping someone else from winning than they are someone's eternal soul.

But Christians did the same thing with Romney.

I put it to the followers of Christ.

I don't know. I only spoke of the one running by the name of Donald Trump.

And who else must Christians disdain whom many instead support, or like per se? Mark Twain? Thomas Jefferson? Netanyahu? Milton Berle?...

Pick as many as you like. Either you're for Christ or you're against Him. Christians aren't called to support that which the world supports. We should be influencing the world. The world shouldn't be influencing us.

Incompetent; immaterial.

Yes I realize Romney was incompetent as is Trump. And that definitely isn't immaterial. But that doesn't mean they can't be saved.

It just becomes more and more less likely the more people feed their already puffed up egos.

The man already thinks he doesn't need God's forgiveness. Make him President and it will reinforce that he's his own god with no need for forgiveness.

Shame on any Christian who takes part in that wickedness that serves as a stumbling block to continue ushering that man towards hell.

"Liberalism strikes at the very foundations of faith; it is heresy radical and universal, because within it are comprehended all heresies. In the practical order it is a radical and universal infraction of the divine law, since it sanctions and authorizes all infractions of that law."
