</font>[/QUOTE]I don't know the difference between a conservative and liberal anymore. To me one statist looks and acts just like another. They all bow down to the federal god and keep feeding it our liberties so it can become bigger more centralized and more intrusive.

But wait a minute you say there is a war on and we have to make sacrifices during war. Yep, sure do to the federal god conservatives used to be against. We're always going to have war because the statist knows he can get his wishes granted in these times far easier than in times of peace.

It is not the conservatives who are polarizing the country. The leftists, starting with FDR, successfully used that tactic from 1930 until 1994 when the Republicans took over the House of Representatives. Yet President Bush hesitates to do what he has promised to do: fire the person who leaked the name of the CIA officer, placing her and her contacts at risk. Rove has demonstrated he can't be trusted with government secrets and does not belong in the White House.

Clearly, Bush is no Eisenhower.

Just a quarter of Americans think the White House is fully cooperating in the federal investigation of the leak of a CIA operative's identity, a number that's declined sharply since the investigation began. And three-quarters say that if presidential adviser Karl Rove was responsible for leaking classified information, it should cost him his job.

Skepticism about the administration's cooperation has jumped. As the initial investigation began in September 2003, nearly half the public, 47 percent, believed the White House was fully cooperating. That fell to 39 percent a few weeks later, and it's lower still, 25 percent, in this new ABC News poll.

Plame and her husband engaged in partisan politics. He wrote a book. They were "sources" for information (often false) used by Dems in their shrill cries of "Bush lied and people died."

Hmm ... we're still not seeing any investigation, charges, or "proof" that Rove did anything wrong. I don't think we will either. However, we will continue to read wild lies, exaggerations, and distortions. Will the purveyors of this ever admit it? I doubt it! They will, of course, find some other baseless thing to crow about.

They do seem to be rather eager to break all previous spending records, bloat the federal government and give it more freedom to be intrusive on our private lives.

Libertarians and real conservatives aren't out to destroy Bush, this is a misconception on your part I believe. Libertarians are out to protect the Republic and preserve the Constitution from anyone that threatens them including the Bush administration.
