Thanks. Sure thing.Eliyahu said:Before your departure, please accept my apology if I offended you too much. But to some extend we may be hurt each other for awhile.
But the basic principle is that we all need some more patience and I didn't try to make any specific attack in this case. Certain general advice could have been exchanged I believe. I had a certain feelings and impressions on all posters and could not but answer the details when I was asked. However, again please accept my apology if I hurt you in un-christian way.
cowboymatt said:You're wrong. I did not change it, nor would I know how to. He linked to my wife's page and then proceeded to attack her. It is clear as day, especially since my myspace does not contain one reference to Halloween at all. You're wrong, Eliyahu linked to her page.
Edit--someone posted a Happy Halloween animated gif as a comment on my page. That still doesn't mean that he did not link to her page.
Does it matter? How would you expect me to react when a link is posted that when clicked on leads to my wife's myspace?donnA said:Is there a link on your site to your wife's? Which to me would normal if it was. If it is does it says it's your wife?

And of course my wife is in my list of friends.
Thanks for your acceptance. I was born 2 times before you were born.cowboymatt said:Thanks. Sure thing.
He wasn't. But how else was I supposed to react?donnA said:If it doesn't say it was your wife, how was he supose to know?

And shouldn't people who are not in the public eye be exempt from flaming? How does it make sense that someone's family can be openly denigrated?
Like I already said, I do have a link to her myspace on mine, he probably clicked on it there and found her site offensive for some odd reason, then posted it as if it was mine. I clicked on it and to my surprise it wasn't anything to do with me but my wife. As would be true of any husband, this upset me greatly.

I was born again 3 days before my D-Day for the Suicide. I prepared Explosive Dynamite with my own invented ignition system, and wanted to check the final answer from God, then I was asked by a pastor to read Galatians 2:20, at that time I realized I died already at the Cross and do not need to blow up myself. I experimented the Dynamite under the persimmon tree and it blew out the tree and the explosive was successful.
I decided to do it because I found the whole world was too much corrupted and sinful, and selfish, and myself was the same too, and I wanted to be a pioneer to blow up myself. After that day, my life was totally changed. It happened in 1973. This is my short testimony.
That's reasonable!donnA said:I can understand your reaction, my family has been attacked here at one time. I rarely talk about them in public forums anymore.
You would think people not in the public eye would be exempt, but the sad truth is, on this site or most anyother, thats not true.
I'm sure my husband would defend me too, as a matter of fact I'm positive.

HP: Either He was of the lineage of David through Joseph as Scripture states, or He was not. Possibly you take DHK’s position i.e., that God was untruthful so as to convince the Jews He was when in reality we through the Spirit know He was not. Is that your position?
donnA said:ann= " The egg was not yet "flesh" as in a body for the Word."
I'd like to have ann explain this.
An egg is not the child until that egg is fertilized. The egg was not the body that belonged to the Word until it was fertilized. God prepared a body for the Word through the Word becoming flesh as the egg was fertilized.
cowboymatt said:Wow. That's amazing. See, now I will read all of your post quite differently seeing that I know something about you.
I also apologize for calling you a jerk. I'm sorry.
My testimony isn't nearly as exciting, but I accepted Jesus as my savior when I was 8 years old, not knowing exactly what I was getting into. When I was 15 I gave my life to Christ more for real, recognizing him as my Lord. When I was 17 I was licensed as a SBC minister, then went to a Baptist college (Hardin-Simmons) and then a Baptist seminary (Truett). While in seminary I was ordained in a SBC church and now I am studying to get my PhD in New Testament at Fuller Seminary so that I can be a professor. I hope you find my story helpful as I found yours!
Ann: We know that Joseph was not Jesus' biological father. That's what I'm saying.
Scripture does not state this.Heavenly Pilgrim said:What we know is that although Joseph is stated to be the biological father of the flesh of Jesus, ...
With all respect, one could prevent any of this from happening in any form by not having a "blog site" linkable in the tag line.cowboymatt said:Her page was linked to, clearly, and then she was run through the mud. How is that fair or good or defendable?
