The brilliance of Ann Coulter

Maybe this should go under clean humor ... except she was serious.

God gave us the earth. We have dominion over the plants, the animals, the trees. God said, "Earth is yours. Take it. Rape it. It's yours."

You forgot the part about how the animals should be afraid of us.

Nobody expects an objective conversation with you, but maybe you could tell us what she should have said, and make sure it jibes with scripture. Because as it sits, she is right.

Get your Bible. Blow the dust off it and read Genesis.

Genesis what ? Be specific, please.

Correct her. Don't just tell us she is wrong. Solve this and answer my question.

So you're not going to answer my question.

I'll try it this way…….

Describe why you sarcastically called Ann's words "brilliance". What did she say that was wrong, and how would you correct her ?

BC, I sure hope you aren't planning on holding your breath until you get a rational answer from crabby; if so, well, it's been nice knowing you!!!! :BangHead::thumbs:

There are 3 verses on how humans were to treat the Earth in Genesis 1. Genesis 2 deals strictly with the Garden of Eden, and the rules were different there.

Tell me what she should have said. How does what she said differ from what God commanded ?

What does "subdue" mean to you ? To me, it means control by force. What do you think God meant ?

I think she probably intended for the left to understand her, so she had to put it in terms they could relate to!

Sorta like the tale my wife (RN ) tells of a Dr talking to a patient (very un-learned) in the hospital & he was asked if he had had a BM in the last 24 hrs.
Patient responded with "HUH?"
Dr said "Have you emptied your bowels since yesterday?"
Patient responded again, "HUH?"
Dr tries a 3rd time, "Have you s--t lately?"
Patient responds this time, "Yessir, just this morning."

So gotta speak in terms folks understand, so if she wanted the progressives to get the point, she had to speak in their terms.

Funny thing is, I bet ole' C.T.Boy believes we descended from apes, and doesn't believe word one of Genesis 1 & 2.

What's interesting is that there is no evidence of this so-called "video" from Hannity and Colmes on June 20, 2001. Funny, given that the Internet is awash with the specific date for this comment to have been aired.

This quote is an outright lie. Coulter never said it. It is made up by the liberals who hate her. Guess we know one specific person that includes now, don't we?

What is the difference between subdue and rape? Rape is destructive, immoral. Subdue is to bring under control, to tend. God did not tell Adam and Eve to rape the garden.

Why would God create something that he declares good and then tell mankind to rape, to destroy it?

So you have a problem with the word "rape".
I didn't ask you what the difference between rape, and subdue is. I asked you what subdue means, to you. I think it means, force to acquiesce. What do you think it means ? Does "subdue" denote a peaceful struggle, to you ?

So in your opinion, rape is a good word and is all right?

Yes peaceful, but not a struggle. Like a farmer tenderly caring for his land.
