It is indeed expected:
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths (2 Tim 4:3-4)
......................But the church wanted him as pastor. Two years later, he had just about destroyed the church and a new pastor from BIMI came in to re-establish Fellowship Bap.

Take your pick, Unless you go with something like the New World Translation you will have in your hands a valid translation of God's word. If you want better than that you are going to have to learn the original languages.Bro K said:Where can we find God's Word? Which translation should we read and study; or does it really matter which one, since they all claim to be the right one.
No, He sure doesn't, nor has He. Use the KJV if you want, or an of the other valid translations. Each one will steer you you straight so long as you follow God's doctrines and not those made by man.Bro K said:What are we to hang our hat on? Surely God would not allow his children to wander aimlessly through life without any guidelines; like a ship on the ocean without an anchor or rudder.
Google is your friend as I do not know who publish it or how many revisions it has had over the years.Bro K said:Who are these publishers of the TR and where can I find out about them?
All of the true translations. All of them say the same thing but with different words. All are the one and only God speaking.Bro K said:Which translation reveals the TRUE theology; where we can find the glory of God.
Funny thing is, God won't use a translation. He will speak Himself. he won't even use Hebrew or Greek. God will speak His words without having to be limited by our finite means of communication. We will have perfect understanding of everything He says. Translations will be no more for there will be no need of them for all of eternity.Bro K said:I willing admit that I know very little about the various translations. But I do know that one day I will stand before an all knowing and all just God and be judged. Wonder which translation he will use to show me what He told me to do and not to do? HOPE I PICKED THE RIGHT ONE!!
I reviewed the BIMI website....All their missionaries uses the KJV. Would be interesting to know what he did to go about destroying the church or did the KJV do the destroying????
........I can tell someone how to get to my house dozens of different ways by changing the words I use, but they will all bring down the same roads and to the same turns; it is the same for the various translations...
Fallacious. Typical.Sounds very "ecumenical" to me.There are some "good" translations out there, but every translation does not agree, so I do not believe they can all be the Word of God. I think you need to be very careful choosing a Bible. JMHO.

I think you need to be very careful in the way you choose to convey your thoughts. Don't besmirch all translations other than those from the KJV line. You contradict the Word of God by saying the kinds of things you do.
Okay, I know you don't like to consult various translations because that would confuse you -- as you have said in the past. You really have no basis to make such an unbiblical judgment call.
Taking the CottonPatch,Message, the old Living Bible,NWT,RCV, The Message out of the picture --- what English translations are not the Word of God? And your task will be rather audacious.
