Cool, what a Blessing, to not be bothered with having them down pat.

"Arminianism, a theological movement in Christianity, a liberal reaction to the Calvinist doctrine of predestination. The movement began early in the 17th century and asserted that God's sovereignty and man's free will are compatible".

    And they are not.

Arminianism is a branch of Calvinistic thinking, and it is wrong for all the same reasons that Calvinism is wrong.

Faith is in accordance with grace and not the works of the Law. Calvinism denies this fundamental truth of God, along with several others truths of God (Limited Spiritual Ability of the Fallen, Conditional Election based on faith, Christ dying for all mankind, Reconciliation when placed spiritually in Christ)

Folks do you see the effort to post any absurdity, to lengthen the thread to reach closure. All these obvious extenders, devoid of on topic discussion of the issue of the thread should be deleted. That would bring an end to this practice.

Some Calvinists believe if you are not a Calvinist, then you have to be an Arminian. Utter nonsense.
Conservative theology is based on what scripture actually says, liberal theology such as Calvinism, is based on reading into the text what it does not say.

Limited Spiritual Ability is found in scripture, people seeking God. Total Spiritual Inability is not found in scripture.
Conditional Election for Salvation on the basis of faith is found in scripture. Unconditional Election of individuals is not.
Christ dying for all mankind is found in scripture, Christ dying exclusively for the elect is not.
God crediting a believers faith as righteousness is found in scripture, the gift of instilled faith via irresistible grace is not.

God Has Not Brought Glory to Himself, through His Eternal Plan of Salvation, as He Has Revealed, from Genesis to Revelation, but man is Worshipped, and Rewarded, by God.

Strawman of Calvinist construction posted and then disparaged by a Calvinist poster, having nothing to do with the top[c.

Does God reward service? Of course, His servants will be honored.

Calvinism denies a great deal of God's word.

There is no such thing in scripture as "Sovereignty" Sovereignty is the Calvinist imagination. Why not see if you can prove Sovereignty is Biblical?

I do not think such a thing, because, God is not ever call sovereign in scripture. Calvinist use this term thinking it supports there deterministic theology which also is not in scripture.

"God", in Genesis 1:1, is The Self-Existent, Eternal, Creator God, Who is Sovereign.

Mankind ARE HOPELESS, before HIS Omnipotence.

Regardless of what Mankind may be able to reason out, to worship man (and Satan, indirectly) in opposition to Worshipping The God of The Bible, with a mind that has suffered The Curse of The Fall of Adam.
