"The Coffee Shop" #12

I was in the field washing bridges this morning - I am at my other bridge job this afternoon - Friday and most of Monday.

Thought it would be nice to see what's going on during the day light hours!!

 

We have intradot on our State computers - cannot get on BB from that - they control what we can do with their computers.

But there are other ways if you really want to do something!!!

Time to sign off for right now - hope to be back on later tonight.

PS - I'll tell them to hit that spot again!!!

Well I'm back! In town was nuts today. Post office was busy, and the store was too! Everyone loves those deals though!

Um-mm, did I hear or read something about a hose?
Hmmmmm wonder where that came from? I better watch my back!

And sister Sherrie, thanks so much for the beautiful card! It made my day. You are such a special person!

Got a question. My daughter is going to Centrifuge on July 7. She has to dress as a Super Hero or Hero. Any ideas? I am not crafty, and I do not sew. So I just don't know what to do for her. Went checking around today. No luck! Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Oh, and by the way......Larry Boy is out, someone is going as him, and some other Veggie tales characters. Super Woman is out too. Will let you know more later.

Babysitting went really good this morning. The girls' mother brought doughnuts and chocolate milk, so I set them up on the table in the back yard with paper plates and cups. Then they played in and around the pool for about an hour and a half. They came inside the last 30 minutes or so before their mom came back. They were all really good, but I am glad we only have 2 children and not 5.

 

Just a reminder, I will be gone all next week (Monday - Friday) to Branson. I didn't want anyone to think I got mad and left the Baptist Board when I wasn't here a few days.

Family vacation. The doctor my wife works for gave us season passes to Silver Dollar City, White Water, and Celebration City (new theme park owned by the Silver Dollar City owner). We will probably watch at least one show and shop while we are there also. Hopefully the boys will have a lot of fun.

 

Well, golly Rod---hope you have fun without us!!!!! I've been to SDC numerous times---I just got to thinkin'--one time we were there there was a food shop cart where they were sellin' buttered corn on the cob--so I got me one----gooooooooooood!! With lots of salt and butter---I mean, that butter was drippin' down my elbows---then we went to another vendor who was sellin' caramel apples on a stick---got one of those, too!

My wife and I will be going next week to her mom's in Alabama---Miriam's Granddaddy will be 90 years old and we're throwin' him a BD party--catered and everything---Granddaddy doesn't know that they're spending that kind of money---if he did, he'd have a duck!!! It'll be fun! Its gonna be at the church fellowship hall!

Later on tonite when I get back on---I'll have to explain to ya'll what happened to my corn patch!! And I maaaaaaaaaaay reveal my inside source to the Women's Private Forum---there's more there than RodH says there is!!!!!! That was just a "ploy" to get me not to go there!

Hi Everyone!

Grandson and I worked REALLY hard today! We are rewarding ourselves with a delivered Pizza for supper. (I'm too tired to cook)

We cleaned out the BIG toy box and threw away all the broken pieces and finally got it moved upstairs out of the basement into the family room.

We cruised the second-hand shops and found some really good bargains for all three of us and we just HAD to stop at LJS for lunch...they are having a sale.

Then we came home and cleaned off a table and two booths in the basement and hubby and I moved them upstairs onto the enclosed front porch when he got home from work.

I think grandson and I will take tomorrow off. I probably won't be able to walk anyway! He has been wanting to ride his bicycle and jump on his pogo stick. I have been working him pretty good. I told him he could play all day tomorrow.

Going to go off line and order pizza now. I will pop back in later to say good night.

Sherrie: Did you find out if your church went to Haiti with Grace Mission to Haiti?

I have not been posting for a few days. To busy with family, work and missionary work. I can't wait till we have enough support so I don't have to work full time
