A couple of things here as Blackbird is contemplating releasing captured information from his A+ mind--

(1) Ya'll have all got to "get it out of your minds" (forget all about) Blackbird postin' his picture on the BB information dialog. Blackbird ain't postin' no picture! If ya'll figure out what I look like--I'll be "done for!", "finished" as a caped crusader for justice and the Baptist Board way---If I ever drive through your home town(and you'll never know when I will or won't)---you'll always be able to say--"Who was that masked man??"

(2) Secondly---and this is the most important---just what in the world are ya'll bunch of ladies doing ramblin' around in the "More about hair" thread??? I saw ya'll postin'! Didn't have very much to do with the subject at hand--Blackbird didn't forward himself not one teeny tiny step forward theologically by readin' about purple hair touchin' the top of Gib's ears!!!!!

The moral here is--if ya'll are gonna post---make sure that its a post where Blackbird can take it and use it as part of his next Sunday's message--or at least be able to save it until he happens to be preachin' on the particular subject!!!

Now, Sister Sherrie---tell your quartet of ladies that I need a big pot of Cajun style coffee--just keep it goin' all around--coffee is on me today!!!!

Morning folks! It is raining here in the Big Apple. As a matter of fact it was raining since late last night and made a lot of noise on top of the window airconditioners. Did not fall asleep for sometime. But the rain is good. All the plants and trees are brilliatly green, the reservoirs are full to capacity, it will be a great summer!

BTW, I think I figured out why Blackbird insist on other men to get a haircut and look like him. He must be brandishing a Telly Savalas look! Here is the picture, to give you some idea...

Sherrie: WOW! That 1/2 day was the shortest two day retreat I've ever seen! I knew you couldn't stay off of here that long! I'm glad your eyes are feeling better.

Love your pics Jon, Rod and Audrey ...yours too blackbirdy ! Thanks Barnabas , I had a picture in my mind of what he looked like...that wasn't it.

Dan: There is a milkshake for you in 'The Tea Room' (sugarless of course).

Brent and I got our exercise yesterday. We painted a 'huge' picnic table and a metal glider.
I washed clothes and Brent 'helped' me hang them outside on the line.

Bathroom floor tile is all laid now and new sink in place, so we had to put the floor cabinets back and replace everything in them, as well as the sink cabinet. I think I'll keep Brent! He is a very good little helper!

He is trying to learn to handle the Pogo Stick I gave him for Christmas. I think he's up to three hops now without falling off!

Today, we are gonna take a break and cruise the second-hand shops. I am going to pack a lunch for us so we can eat at the park between errands. We also have to go by Aldi's and pick up some snacks. That boy can eat!
