I guess, to the victor go the spoils, Jim. Hopefully it will be the Sooners turn to celebrate at the end of football season this coming fall. [IMG]

Sorry AuDzy...its sweeps week at The Coffee Shop....we will not be able to wait until next week.

Riddle me this Bro. Dallas...What has only 4 fingers....and one is a thumb?

Sorry Bro. Dallas...but you are an impersonator! Had you been the "Toad" you would have known it was a frog! You are in fact..Bro. Dallas....but not the Frogman! You are Nonnox10!

That is ok Nonnox10 ...everything in the Coffee Shop is free!

Mrs. Frogman looks somewhat relieved, she knows her husband did not look like that before she came to The Coffee Shop! Meanwhile....at the curve of the steps...

Rod catches up with AuDzy and Sherrie...and he says, "Do you hear that? Its someone laughing!" AudZy drops the flashlight in amazement of the laughter.

Sherrie says, "Listen! It is coming from around the curve of these steps...closer to the metal clanging I hear!"

Rod, valiantly says..."Stand back ladies....I am going down first" AuDzy quickly picks up the flashlight before Sherrie loses her temper, and Rod trips over it. "Wait for us Rod", AuDzy yells...Rod says, "Shhhhhhh...they will hear us!"

Rod, I don't follow rugby football, but for 25 years I travelled to Syracuse for the basketball. First because it was the nearest college basketball, then I sort of fell in love with the Orangemen.

It is a 6 hour round-trip drive for me, so there had to be something.....

    Cheers,

    Jim

Syracuse had a really good basketball team this year. I guess that is obvious from the tournament. It is a shame that Anthony decided to leave early for the NBA. They would (and maybe still do) have a great chance to repeat if he had stayed. It should still be exciting to watch next year.

Is Baylor green and yellow? You certainly wouldn't want to be confused as a Baylor sports fan while wearing the robes. [IMG]

Rod,,if you were a kid with his basketball talent and an opportunity to enter the big field, what would you do? He can always get an education later,,if he wants it...but sometimes the pro only comes around once. I think he made the right decision. Yes, the team is still young and there are some very good team players on that team. I also think they have the right coach...he is a players coach and they know that.

I should say that Duke and NC were always my favourite teams, but Syracuse grew on me too.

    Cheers,

    Jim

I agree that he made the right choice. Being a certain lottery pick will bring him lots of money in the near future. That chance of a career ending injury while staying in college wouldn't be worth it. It is a shame that the really good players only stay 2 to 3 year in college before leaving.

I also like NC. I really liked Dean Smith when he coached the Tarheels. Hopefully Roy Williams will bring them back to that level of play.

Sherrie, reading the story makes me feel like I am in a Scooby Doo episode. Probably has something to do with my boys liking it. Does that mean I am Shaggy since I am going in first? I guess not since I didn't have to be bribed with food to do it. [IMG]

OK maybe I am just tired and I'm not thinking right anymore. It is only 9:00 p.m., so I shouldn't be that tired yet, especially not after a short week.

Gym, You would definately attract some attention going to a game wearing an orange and black robe, Syracuse cap and clerical collar. [IMG]

I'll have to get wife busy sewing and see if we can put something together for next season. I could take in a game like that for a lark...Do you think they would accept a 76 year old clown?..with an English accent....lol

    Cheers,
