    Sounds awesome, Sherrie!

I made the fried chicken dinner for my mom, and then went and got pizza. I ordered from a new place, because my normal pizza place is closed for renovations. [IMG]

And now I feel really sick.. I hope it's not food poisoning. :(

Audrey! Hope it ain't the virus! I wouldn't wish the virus on Hillary Clinton!

By the way! How's the cash register?? I NEED those sales! I NEED to hear that bell on that register "Ring!" The "Kitty Hawk" is costin' me a fortune--I pay per take off and landing---and it don't count against me if I crash and burn!

    Your buddy,
    Blackbird

    See ya'll in the mornin'!

That all depends on where you are in good ole IL. Up here in the far north of the state they think anything south of I-80 is Southern IL. The people around Springfield think anything South of I-70 is Southern IL. The people around Mt. Vernon think you have to live south of Carbondale to be in Southern IL. I believe the only people who truly believe they live in Southern IL are those who live in Cairo.

I have lived as far South as Carbondale and as far North as Rockford, and I spent most of my live in Bethalto. (St. Louis Metro area). And every one here in Rockford thinks I'm a real Southerner.

My old Pastor was from Bethalto. Well he wasn't old in age, Just he is not my Pastor now. But I think I asked you about that before.

Blackbird has just taken off from the Kitty Hawk's flight deck! Successfully as always and this time without the catapult!

His target on this sortie is the Women's Private Forum again! This'll make him his "umteenth" time to try to breech the door!

Suspected activity inside the forum--Sherrie and Audrey "sceemin'" and "canivin'" because Blackbird's "Homein'" devise seems to be workin'! And he is gettin' dangerously close to vital information he so desperately thinks he needs. Of course, its been so many "Coffee Shop's" ago that he has forgotten what it was he was suppose to remember--somebody here needs to jog his memory before the "smart" bombs start flyin'!

Meanwhile, rsr(Kitty Hawk's skipper) can't see a single reason why Blackbird wants in to the forum--he's been there--seen an episode on Star Trek that reminded him of what he saw--but with reluctance Kitty Hawk's skipper keeps givin' Blackbird the greenlight on deck number 2--but didn't have any knowledge that Blackbird was going to attempt a take off without the catapult!

Blackbird is flyin' with radar system on--he flys past the Coffee Shop chapel and then turns to "Buzz" Gina's forum on car trouble--he passes at tree top level at supersonic speed and thinks "It'll take my sound waves about 10 seconds to follow the plane--good---that ought to throw Gina out of the bed--wake her up from that God aweful dream she's havin'---she ought to be hearin' and feelin' a sonic boom riiiiiiiight abouuuuuuut now!

There's the Women's Forum there! Blackbird turns his radar off--realizin' he'd be more of a man when he tries to mimmic Luke Skywalker's use of the force.

"WHAT?? IT VANISHED! WHAT'S HAPPENIN'?? I DON'T GET IT? MY FINGER WAS ON THE TRIGGER FIXIN' TO SPRAY BULLETS ALL OVER THE FRONT DOOR . . . AND IT VANISHED . . .!"

Voice over radio--transmission comin' in from Kitty Hawk---"PULL UP, BLACKBIRD! PULL UP!"

    Static!!!!!!!

    Hello! [IMG]

Thought I'd pop in and say hello and get a cup of coffee with my usual half & half. Been extremely busy with end of the school year stuff (girls don't get out until the 10th :( ) And softball season, husband and oldest daughter play for the church league and youngest plays for school. So we are running here and there and everywhere for practices and games. We also are going to rehearsals for Ohio's only passion play, just haven't made it to very many with everything else going on. If you are ever in the Southeastern Ohio region I would love to see you stop by and see our Outdoor Drama on Jesus Christ. It has been such a blessing to people and a real blessing to me and my family.

We also have been fighting sickness and allergies here. There are some bugs going around here like crazy. The stomach bug and bronchitis. YUCK! Doing better now, I think.

That's enough about me. How is everyone else? I've missed to many days to go back and check, so what's up? I sure did miss you all. And know that I am still praying for you all. I may not be here much, but your not forgotten. Got to run again, I have a doctors appointment to get ready for. Can't believe I'm saying this, but I can't wait to step on those scales!!!!!!

    God bless you all!
And Jim, The chapel is wonderful! Thank you for your time and devotion to it.

Will hopefully stop by again soon.

It is a wet rainy morning here in Siloam Springs. It is a little cooler which is nice, but it is very humid also.

FYG...Glad to see you back in the Coffee Shop! Have missed you! Keep that bug in Ohio tho.

followinghim...I do not think blackbird has ever been more serious. Let him go...once he gets in the womens forum....well...that when we can get in the mens...

blackbird...I do not think I will be the one to remind you why you are doing what. But me and my son waned to build a catapult for fun. A large one. We never did. I wish we would have.

Our two boys went with my wife's Aunt and Uncle to Tulsa on Sunday afternoon and had a great time. They went to a new aquarium that just opened in Jenks, OK, and they also went to watch the movie Finding Nemo. I think they also stopped in for a Krispy Kreme donut while in Tulsa. [IMG]

While they were gone, I replaced the ceiling fan in their bedroom. We changed it as one of the first steps in changing the room for Micheal's 8th birthday on the 17th of this month. I am not very good at that type of thing so I was amazed that the fan worked when I was done.

Yeah...that electrical stuff scares me. They put a ceiling fan right over my stove, and a regual light over my kitchen table. It needs to be reversed. I have no idea how to do it. And I am really afraid to try. So you are really brave about that.

There is usually a swith somewhere on the ceiling fan that switches its direction. Its nothing to be afraid of - just find the switch and push it in the other direction.

I did make sure to turn the electricity off to that room before attempting it. Since there was an existing fan in the room I was able to look at it to see how it was wired to help get it right on the new one. That made it a little easier.

My previous most challenging home project was replacing a garbage disposal on the kitchen sink. It still works too. [IMG]

    Good morning you lovely people.

Rod is becoming the resident handyman. He will be displacing the current Blackbirdie.

I have been about this morning, Just got myself in trouble in the polls forum on dresses. I just don't get it. How wearing veils and dresses to the ankles has anything to do with Christianity. My opinion is that it just may be a false sense of modesty and is really crying out, "Look at me. I am religious." Not sure that is what Jesus meant when he commissioned us to witness to His grace.

Oh, thanks everyone for your comments on the devotions. Bless the Lord is you should benefit along with me as I share my morning devotions.

    Cheers, and God bless.

    Jim

</font>[/QUOTE][IMG] On another thread, I am being told that I have an 'holier than thou' attitude. All I did was disagree with what two certain people were saying, and for this past week I've dealt with two people who have been putting words into my mouth and accusing me of condemning a person. Why is it that people can't handle being told that they are disagreed with? Just because I don't hold to the same view as other people doesn't mean that they can put words in my mouth and accuse me of things! [IMG]

    Sherrie,

I want to apologize if I've ever done ill to you on this board. Please forgive me if I have!
