Commandment of Jesus Christ

Work not for the things of this world...

John, Chapter 6, 27: Labour not for the meat which perisheth,
but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the
Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

I notice you haven't given up your computer Stephen. I bet you have lots of other material things as well, and I bet you worked for them.

Maybe you should live your doctrine before you preach it to others. You don't want to be a hypocrite do you?

The Lord told me to say to you, that what I do, will not hinder you from obeying His only begotten Son's commandments.

The Lord told me not to believe a word you say because a demon was speaking to you! Now, how can you prove the Lord did not tell me that and a demon is not speaking to you?

Eve heard a voice too.
"Ye shall be as gods."
And the Mormons believe that to this day.
What makes you any different?

Is it not against the rules of this forum to question anyone's salvation?

Dr. Bob is this not true?

Dr Bob, I would like to have your opinion?

A demon or the devil is not going to preach the commandments of Jesus Christ.

A demon certainly will preach keeping the commandments of Jesus Christ in order to be justified before God or have you never read the book of Galatians or read Acts 15??????? These people did not deny the commandments of Christ or the commandments of God given to Moses, they believed in keeping all of God's commandments for salvation.

Can't read too well can you? He asked a question or did you notice the question mark? He did not make a statement!

Are you questioning my salvation?

Can you prove that it was not Christ, and a demon as Biblicist suggests?

That is precisely my point! Personal experiences, extabiblical sources of authority are moot, worthless and without authority. God provides the test in Isaiah 8:10 - "if they speak not according to this word IT IS BECAUSE THERE IS NO LIGHT IN THEM." This is said in response to verse 19 where some claim supernatural insights! God's response is that His Word is the final authority not your personal opinions or claims.

This brings us back to where we began! Are you interpreting "keeping the commandments of Christ" as the means for obtaining and/or sustaining eternal life or spiritual union with God??? Simple question, do you have an answer other than your worthless extrabiblical sources of authority???

What a deceptive individual you are! I simply ask you what you believe about salvation and you attempt to convive and slither and manipulate my words to mean something you know very well I never said. I wonder why??

Again, do you believe that you are justified before God, obtain eternal life and sustain eternal life by your own keeping of the commandments of Christ? Simple question! Can you answer it?

Dr. Bob,

There have been many members
here on this forum question my salvation on this thread.

Are you going to do the same that I have observe you did to those who did this in the past on here, or are you a respecter of persons and do not administer the same rules on everyone?

Is not one of the commandments of Christ "thou shalt not lie"? You are lying! Neither of those you accused have said that you were not saved. You are bearing false witness.

Asking what you believe about salvation is not questioning your salvation, it is questioning only what YOU BELIEVE about salvation.

Here is another commandment of Christ you refuse to obey:

1Pe 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

I have asked what YOU BELIEVE about salvation! I have asked you if you believed that keeping the commandments of Christ obtains or sustaints eternal life, justifies you before God??? You refuse to obey Peter's commandment but instead claim you are being mistreated for even being asked. So you are now disobeying another commandment of Christ, and the Apostles were sent by Christ to teach, and speak in his behalf, as his authorized representatives.
