Your linking an event that happened a decade ago with the recent event of Iran's shooting down the Boeing airline is both confusing and disingenuous.
What does Boeing's alleged actions in a 10 year old accident have to do with the clear action of the Iranians in shooting down this jet?
Also, (It Seems To Me as I open myself up to criticism) many are jumping the gun on the causes of the shoot-down. It is clear that the plane crash was the result of two Iranian missiles. What I am unsure about is was the shoot down because of a missile crew's over excitement or a directly ordered event from the Iranian leaders of something in between.
What I am sure of is that the truth of the matter will probably be buried by the Iranians along with the bodies of the crew(s) who fired the missiles. Unless it was truly the fault of a random missile crew, then few will believe that the Iranian Government didn't order the attack.
While I believe the Iranians could have ordered the attack, I have not seen evidence that they did. I also have not spent any time looking for it. If they did order the attack, they will deny it.
The same player is involved. Boeing and FAA.
We still have Boeing birds falling off the sky and we still have FAA.
We had two 737 Max killing hundreds in under a year and clearly Boeing shoddy design is to blame. We had FAA all over. If you can't see any relevance then you should go back to school
