President Obama turing out to be a warmongering globalist just like George W. Bush was the last straw for me with the "relevance" supporting candidates of the two major parties, except for folks such as Ron Paul and Rand Paul.
On the world scene we need an aggressive national defense policy
I do see a consistancy with his view on war that would lead to a reasonable explanation of that.
Typical neo-lib/neo-con worldview. I'll have nothing to do with it.
1) It won't be a surprise if you switch political parties again soon.
2) But, if you don't and Ron Paul gets his fortress mentality turned into a walled reality
America saw what isolationism bought us back in the First World War.
While we cannot (and should not) police the world, imposing our will on other sovereign nations; America saw what isolationism bought us back in the First World War. We do have interests that extend beyond our borders. The key is balance and understanding limitations. If President Bush thought he could establish a Jeffersonian democracy in Iraq, he was foolhardy. There was a reason his dad did not proceed into Baghdad.
1) I will very much surprised if such happened.
2) That would be fine with me. Of course, I have a pro-United States worldview. I encourage everyone reading this to adopt the same.
has some serious faults that would be fatal to America.
Ken, old buddy, old pal. You are seriously going off the ranch. No American (other than the rare traitor) wants to see the end of our nation. No Republican. No Democrat. No Libertarian. No "Elitist" (whatever that means). People have differing views of how to make this a better place for our kids and grandkids, but only extremists set up a bunker, us-vs.-them mentality, and accuse others (nebulous or real) of wanting the destroy the nation. The polarization of political discourse in this country has badly degenerated, with no middle ground. Accusations of Marxist, Communist, Elitist, Reactionary, etc. etc. do nothing to remedy the sad state of political dialog we find today. It's foreign adventurism of people like Barack Obama and George W. Bush that could be fatal to the United States. I think that is what the elitists want.

Corporations are run by people, and consider nothing outside the decisions of their boards and management. While it is true that many folks who run those firms place their own self interest above those of the nation, I truly don't believe that the boards of directors of multinationals want to see the demise of the US. This is where the greed factor sets in, and why it is dangerous for corporate interest to buy their way to control the levers of power, and to control the mass media. But legitimate concerns are not a reason to jump to extreme viewpoints. That is your right, but I just wanted to throw you a bit of balance to what I have seen lately.I disagree. There are people, and corporations, that consider themselves to be citizens of the world, not of the country in which they reside.
Like I say, extremists always wave their hands to point themselves out. Thus they will always be considered fringe nut cases. There is no room for middle ground Marxist Marxist, commie, marxist, etc. etc.

I do realize that ken has bounced around a bit with his support of political candiates but I do see a consistancy with his view on war that would lead to a reasonable explanation of that.
Although he has shown clearly he has no clue who it is that is swallowing what from whom but seems to simply be spewing infowars talking points without giving any real consideration to the views that are given in opposition to his own.
