More like the dangers to inaccurate versions when all are used appropiately to allow the full meaning to be received without the errors of those inaccurate versions

I just tried to diagram this sentence and appeared to have pulled something.

It is the use of grammar incorporated to give answer to one's dilemma without wasting time to include other words simply to take up space.
ummmmmmm....nope. still don't get it.

This would be the point in time where Salamander capitalizes on the wide-open door I left with my last line.

I wonder if you're really such an observing "language cop" if the exception to a certain grammatical rule will be seen by the scrutiny of that critical eye of yours?
EdSutton said:
Technically, yes.

However, I was combining the essences of three posts of mine, plus some of yours, without naming them specifically, in my last response.

Yep, you missed it.
Once again, I'm still not a mind reader. I did not realize you were specifically referring to your own previous post. But since you brought it up, which one of the three of your grammatical (plus one linguistic) transgressions, which I found at a quick glance, were you referring to?

[Edited to add]Those 'transgressions' include, but are not necessarily limited to, 'number', 'tense', 'punctuation', and 'Capitalization'.

However, my alter-ego does not attempt to hunt for all transgressions that might possibly be found, wiht detailed scrutiny. Unlike, say, Edwin Newman, James J. Kilpatrick, and the late William F. Buckley, to name three, Language Cop does not get paid for patrolling his beat. ;)
