It seems there is at least one poster here that thinks that only Christ's words are inspired and Pauls letters are not. I find this view heretical. Does anyone agree? What say you of the doctrine of inspiration?

While I am careful to use the term heresy, the described in the OP is in grave error. That said, one of the heresies of the earliest church was Marcion who took only the book of Luke and the writings of Paul, in the second century, and proclaimed them to be authentic. The earliest churches rejected this teaching and labeled Marcion a heretic.
It is a dangerous belief, and a false one, that only Jesus' words are inspired or are more inspired than other words. This is because the nature of inspiration, as it is properly understood, should lead us to see that all the words of Scripture are equally inspired. The sayings of Jesus, as they are authentic, are just as inspired as the Psalms, as the Minor Prophets, as Peter's letters, and as Revelation and all the other books of the accepted 66 which comprise the canon.
While Jesus' words are important, they are not more important nor less important than other words in the Bible.

Yes I would consider that heretical. It is an attack on plenary inspiration of Scripture.

While I might suspect an imposter as far as being Baptist, I don't think I would go so far as to question this fellow's salvation. One can be saved despite holding to a false position. Either that is true or there are many imposters here, because there is little agreement on a number of issues.
Perhaps this one might be convinced that his view is in error?

Not all Christians share the same view concerning inspiration? Frankly I would not call someone a Christian that holds to a liberal orthodox view. I would not call so called "Progressive Christians" who hold questionable views on inspiration Christians.

Ah well. So long as someone like him continues to create controversy and thereby create traffic to see the many ads its all ok.
Would that argument be as valid for a Catholic endorsing the Apocrypha? They feel we are refusing to embrace Inspired Scripture.
I have run into several people who reject Paul's teaching, and it seems most of them are okay with books we consider pseudepigrapha. It's a challenging debate.
