The Double Standard of the Left

In large part, one is very free to speak critically of Christ and Christianity in public, and there is a similar situation in discussion forums such as BB. One may insult President Trump with no fear of repercussions on many online forums, but is there a double standard? Is equal criticism of Leftists, especially those of different races, or even 1/2- race folks such as Obama, treated differently in society at large, and in forums such as this, specifically?

My assertion is that free speech is under attack. My proof? Well, we'll see how long this thread lasts. . .

Great video in the mean time:

Well, free speech constrains the government. Free speech does not constrain private individuals or private businesses. The moderators can do what they want. They own the board or are designees of the owner. I see no problem with that. You could start your own forum and moderate however you wish.

Did I say that online forums couldn't do as they wished?

Having said that, can an apparently apolitical forum remain ethical if it has a double standard in this regard?

And yet another strawman argument. Have you no awareness that you do this on a daily basis?

It is clear you want to be a martyr. If you have a problem with mods and administrators, please take it up in the appropriate venue.

But since you have posted your attack in open forum, I will say that you have made untrue assertions about the people who moderate this board because you want to remake it in your own image. Your assertions are ludicrous. I know it is hard to believe, but not everything is about you and your beliefs. The mods have been patient with you, perhaps too patient. And don't give me offal about how you're only defending the True Faith. You make yourself obnoxious to practically everyone, even those who agree with your soteriology and politics. If you have a problem with my comments, feel free to take them up in the appropriate channel.

The OP was not an attack. It was a criticism. There is a difference. However, your rant above is a personal attack that deserves censure.

This BB is biased about 95% towards rightists. Almost all admin decisions go that way too. You're blind if you can't see that.

This is the right-wing equivalent of that bit in the French Revolution in the first half of 1794, when the Jacobins started guillotining each other for not being orthodox enough.

Did anyone bring popcorn?

Whoever's on top draws criticism. When Obama was president, he drew plenty of flak here, just as Trump does now.
