One man admitted that he was drawn to the scantily clad women. We don't watch those shows in our home. In fact, my husband will turn the channel when the commercials come on if there is any clothing or situation that is not appropriate. Even my 8 year old has learned to do that!
Someone said they can control what they view on the internet and I say 'Wrong!' Another older lady and I mentioned earlier that we'd both somehow gotten porn type pop ups with VERY filthy pictures while innocently looking for something online. Be assured that I have never sought out filth online... it comes by email and pop-ups, ads and headers! A prayer board I visited on an invitation the other day had an ad at the top for Playboy. Another Christian board had an ad for 'dating' which included boy seeking boy ads.
T.V., in and of itself, is not the problem. Satan is the problem.... However, if you are unable to control your lust and sinful thoughts, get rid of the t.v. and internet!

Sherrie listed some GREAT stations that have informative and educational shows and some shows that uplift or entertain. I agree with her and a few others on this. T.V. is not the problem.... the shows people watch are the problem.I too have taught my children what is appropriate and what isn't! So they know the correct things to say and do, and those things they shouldn't.
I also listed 20 stations or more.
